Anyone but Celtic was the cry. Time for some fun facts which highlights VAR and an independent enquiry is needed.

We’ve heard for decades that referees are masons, h*ns, orange b***ards, season ticket holders at Ibrox, you name it. There was also a laughable documentary made once upon a time called “Anyone but Celtic”. That’s the narrative that’s always been created by them for years. Every time Rangers get a penalty rightfully, a player is rightfully sent off against us, a penalty rightly wasn’t awarded against us, there is huge uproar and major conspiracies from even professionals within the game like John Hartson, even over correct calls. That highlights and emphasises that they don’t care one single bit about fairness, they’re willing to allow blatant cheating if it suits them and them only which perfectly sets up what I want to talk about.

Celtic have always resorted to a certain tactic, pressure and intimidate referees. Behaviour like that in the past was always immediately shot down by especially Walter Smith who publicly backed officials and told Celtic to stop behaving like victims. Of course now because no one within Rangers calls it out like Walter did, Celtic’s intimidation tactics are working a treat which has been the case for a good few months now and it’s played a huge factor in them even being in a league race. We all know what Bankier did back in November at the AGM, funnily enough he done so as Gerrard exited Rangers. Gerrard’s another one who would’ve certainly called out their intimidation nonsense. Ever since that moment, nearly every single week wrongly, all the potential game changing moments are benefiting one club, Celtic of course. Meanwhile officials are terrified to give Rangers plenty of decisions that aren’t even debatable.

So let’s go over a good lot of the decisions they’ve had since Bankier piled the pressure.

St Johnstone at Hampden- Won 1-0 with a handball in the build up, should’ve been ruled out.

Celtic 1-0 Hearts-Kyogo scores an offside winner.

Celtic 1-0 Motherwell- Motherwell denied a stonewall penalty at 0-0 and Celtic also awarded a free kick wrongly which led to the goal.

Ross County 1-2 Celtic-A ridiculous amount of injury time added which of course Celtic scored a winner when the game should’ve been over.

Hibernian 1-2 Celtic-Kyogo scores an offside equaliser, a winner which he was assisted from a free kick that shouldn’t have been and Hibs were denied a complete penalty which John Beaton is looking straight at it. Pressure wins them a cup now.

St Johnstone 1-3 Celtic-Liel Abada’s opening goal is scored with his arm which Kris Boyd highlights is ridiculous.

Hearts 1-2 Celtic- Celtic’s second goal is offside against Hearts once again.

Aberdeen 2-3 Celtic- Celtic’s winner is once again dodgy as Abada is an offside position and blocks Bates as Jota scores. Aberdeen are also denied a stonewall penalty at 3-2.

Celtic 3-2 Dundee-Dundee are denied a stonewall penalty in the last minute when the ball clearly hits Jota’s arm. The same day Rangers were denied two stonewall penalties against Dundee United at Tannadice.

Livingston 1-3 Celtic- Celtic are awarded a penalty that’s daylight robbery which is missed. Two minutes later, they’re awarded a corner which is nowhere near the Livingston player and it hits the Celtic players arm, Celtic of course score from the corner. Then in the build up to their second goal, the ball hits Tom Rogic’s arm not once but twice which helps them seal the win and break their curse at the Tony Macaroni.

I’ve highlighted that. Since their AGM, decisions from officials has saved them almost 15 points and has won them a cup. The silence from our board on the pressure they piled is an embarrassment and it’s potentially about to cost us a league title. VAR has to be introduced ASAP and an independent enquiry which should’ve happened 2 years ago is needed.

Good post, but you're talking to the converted here, its the club or SMSM that need to highlighting this and we all know the chances of that happening.

As a side with all the money that our board has invested in the club they don't seem in the least bit concerned about their investment being jeopardised by blatant cheating or gross incompetence

Whilst I totally agree the board would only be complaining to the same people that are complicit in this. They would probably charge us with all sorts. They run the whole organisation now due to all sorts of politics that I won’t even start to go into. The silence from the board is due to the fact that they would be laughed out anyway. In their tiny minds they were unfairly reffed, treated etc for years , they are now reaping the benefits of what happened 10 years ago and putting the people in place that now run the game. We are the biggest club with literally no sway now. The board isn’t actually the problem imo. They would be pissing against the wind

That happened before their AGM. That’s another game though. I’m sure Dundee United were denied one also by Kevin Clancy at Parkhead with the score 1-1.

Dundee Utd were denied a stonewall penalty at Parkhead when Clark was clattered by Starfelt.

Motherwell have been denied two stonewall penalties in separate games. One where there was a handball in the Celtic box and another where Carter-Vickers tripped Tony Watt.

You'll still get folk on here saying we can't blame refs and we just need to be better etc. Aye we do need to be better and even if the refs had got those decisions right Celtic might still have won some of the games, but poor officiating has helped Celtic massively to 10+ points easy IMO.

Dundee United and the penalty Motherwell should’ve got for the handball was pre AGM mate. It’s went up a notch since their AGM because they piled pressure.

Excellent work OP there can't be enough of these threads imo.

We have shot ourselves in the foot at times and you can debate our performance levels but what is irrefutable is that we should have had 2 penalties at Tannadice, which it's fair to assume we would have converted 1 of these.

We also should have been 3-1 up against Motherwell as there was no way any linesman could tell if Morelos was off for the 2nd goal or not and from all available angles it looks like Mugabi played him on.

As mentioned by other posters the referees have directly affected ours and their games to the tune of around 10-12 points minimum this season.

It is so blatant and so patently obvious since Wankier said what he said that referees are terrified to upset them.

you missed jota's first goal up at dens park, just the yard offside

Anyone but celtic deserves zero recognition or validation. It is an abomination of crude clips and uneducated bozos mashed together in some sort of faux outrage, high horse, devine right, maximum privalage nonsense. According to the unhinged maniac making the film celtic should of won absolutely everything ever. The fact celtic let him film at their midden is pretty astonishing as its rambling content is bringing the game into disrepute and celtic let that happen.

Livingston were denied a stonewall penalty late on in the 0-0 at the piggery for Hart wiping someone out. 5 minutes later the filth get a penalty for a daft wee slap despite Kyogo raising his hands first.

Dundee Utd were denied a stonewall penalty in the 1-1 at the piggery.

Both of the above were prior to the AGM i believe. It’s been happening all season.

They’d be nowhere near their current points total if officials done their job properly.

all honest mistakes :shh:

Before he came to become our Secretary, Campbell Ogilvie worked for the Scottish League.

He told me then that were certain referees that celtc would not "allow" to referee their games. This was common knowledge and Large John got what he wanted.

I agree with this and have said something similar for years.

We’ve allowed them to take hold of all anchor points in Scotland, making it easier to direct positions that matter.

The board can do nothing about that.

Excellent post and whilst I'm not convinced that having Gerrard still here would make much difference, that's not the point.

I would like to personally thank you so much for taking the time to highlight all these dodgy decisions, most of which even the Sportscene analysis agreed with and that's saying something!

But this is just the beginning, we need more, much more, I would suggest that we need either an organised campaign to bring this to the next level or lots of other Bears helping out in a free for all (legal) guerrilla warfare style PR attack, I only wish I could help but I've got so much going on in my personal life that it would be impossible.

The next step imo would be compiling video evidence and then highlighting all these "honest mistakes" to our Board of Directors, the SPFL, maybe even UEFA and every single media outlet both here and down south and maybe even overseas you can possibly think of.

If enough of us could do it we would get the results.

There's a couple you mention but VAR wouldn't have changed it like the free kick for the goal against Motherwell or the corner for the first goal on Sunday. The Abada one at Pittodrie McCrorie was possibly playing him on it was Roofe v Brondby levels and Kyogo's cup final goal wasn't offside either.

The tims are starting their offensive with refs on the run in got their useful idiot Hartson in tune whilst talking to the media yesterday saying he hopes the title isn't decided on a dodgy decision.

Meanwhile in a parallel universe (well back page of The Times):

'Bad call could decide title'

John Hartson fears refereeing mistake will prove crucial after a series of blunders.

:eek:o_O

Hilarious if not true.

In todays Times "Gerry and Kate give parenting advice".

Bad call there's been about 10 game changing ones.

That’s them reminding the refs they better not dare make a decision even if it’s the right call because they’ll imply their dirty mason’s.

If the OP is to be taken seriously by anyone not on here you also need to highlight things like the Hearts goal was also offside in the 2-1 game.

Refs and linesman are basically shite and making mistakes all over the place but there is a fear of making a mistake with them so the benefit of the doubt is given to them and against us in my opinion. Not always but often. It’s why VAR is essential as gives the honest ones a hand and gives the crooks like Clancy less leeway.

Yeah agree on that.

They get game changing decisions every week. The league would already be over otherwise.

For balance it'd be interesting to see the decisions we've had in our favour. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Sakala's offside goal vs Motherwell.

Great post. And that's only highlighting decisions in their games. Add to that the horrendous decisions against us and it becomes even more obvious that the pressure they applied at the AGM is working.

The biggest noise made about ref decisions this season have been for correct decisions in our favour (Kent pen v Hibs and Roofe goal v Hibs at Ibrox).

This is what we're up against.

You’ve also forgot the penalty we got against Dundee United at Ibrox. The clearest penalty you’ll see all season yet John Hartson played to the gallery and said “there’s a shock!”. Basically telling officials if they even get the right decision, he’ll still publicly try and humiliate them so they don’t give decisions next time which means they’re then being asked to cheat.

Ryan Kent wrongfully sent off at Pittodrie after people like Sutton piled pressure heading into that game saying we haven’t had a red card in a while

Ross County player not sent off at 1-0 Rangers up Dingwall

Rangers denied a stonewall penalty against Hibs as Walsh probably thought already gave them one, that’s enough.

Rangers denied two stonewall penalties at Tannadice which one of the incidents should’ve saw the Dundee United defender sent off.

Rangers get denied a stonewall penalty in the first half and also get a goal wrongfully ruled offside against Motherwell which would’ve made it 3-1. We go on to draw 2-2.

Rangers get denied another stonewall penalty denied against Aberdeen on Saturday just a few minutes before the goal.

Their pressure is impacting our games, no doubt about it.
