With the SPFL's new made up rule today about averaging points, surely the fairest way to do so would be to do it once everyone* had played each other home and away.
That point came at the winter break when the table saw us one point behind but having played a game less.
If the points were averaged at that balanced, fair point in the fixtures, we would have the best average.
Certainly seems better than just picking a random point where different teams have went to different places.
To be clear, I wouldn't want the title like this or claim that we won it. It's a daft way of settling it. But, if settling it that way, surely they have to look at a more balanced point.
Something for our board to offer as a defence rather than as an alternative should we decide to contest it.
