Generally if there are bids from club at a higher level, that's where the player will go. And even if they do, they might not play an awful lot due to the level being higher.

It's not an exact science. He could go to someone like Ross County and fail to get a look in for any number of reasons. He could go to Barrow, kick on and rack up 40+ appearances and come back a stronger player. Judging a loan move before it happens seem a bit pointless to me.
