Still have the ticket from that day somewhere...Negri's flick over the head of a Dundee United player twice then lob over Sieb Dykstra.
Was unbelievable at the game that day.

This.Cooper v tims 1979 Dryborough Cup Final.
Cooper v tims 1979 Dryborough Cup Final.
Could well have been - must have been around 1993?
Scored at the Broomloan end.
Being able to go tongue reserves at ai rod on a Saturday when the first team was away was a great opportunity to see some of the youngsters at Rangers and other teams.
There was a Rangers v Hibs match around that time where Miller and Kevin Harper were playing and were great. You saw youngsters trying things that you just wouldn’t see in the first team, playing with a bit of naivety at times maybe but really entertaining for it.
Dear GodRooney bicycle kick VS Man Shitty
Dear godSuper Ray in the 5-1 game
Outstanding description!Albertz running half the pitch slaloming through about 5 rats to smash it past the keeper 1998 SC semi final at the stadium of buggery.
I'd add Kanchelskis scoring a similar one against Dunfermline. 2 of the best goals you are ever likely to see.To pick one a bit less obvious, I’ll go with Kris Boyd v Thistle at Firhill in the cup. Lashed a volley from an almost impossible angle, not dissimilar to Van Basten at Euro 88. Like a Poundland Van Basten to be clear, but a great goal nonetheless.
Bobby Lennox goal that day was a cracker as wellI was there for both Coop's and Jardine's Dryburgh Cup Final goals, but Coop also scored a top corner free kick against Hibs at Ibrox, which was also a belter.
Was my first OF was in the enclosure moreJamie Ness vs them
Still never seen a ball hit so cleanly
When Riquelme shattered the space/time continuum v Colombia. What is the best goal you have seen live in the flesh?
Wow, that would have been spectacular seeing that live, magical. When Riquelme shattered the space/time continuum v Colombia.
Bobby Lennox goal that day was a cracker as well
Similair technique this goal against the enemyTo pick one a bit less obvious, I’ll go with Kris Boyd v Thistle at Firhill in the cup. Lashed a volley from an almost impossible angle, not dissimilar to Van Basten at Euro 88. Like a Poundland Van Basten to be clear, but a great goal nonetheless.
EDIT: Just YouTubed it…also with his weaker left foot.
Don't think that was Miller, Tam McManus maybe?Kenny Miller is the only opposition player I have seen applauded for a goal against us. Scored a ridiculous goal for hibs at Ibrox when he was young.
Don't think that was Miller, Tam McManus maybe?
Went for Cooper earlier… but that goal and that night gave me (probably) the best memory I’ll have watching Rangers.
Our fans singing his name right before it happened aswell. What a day.
Genuinely can't remember that, I can mind McManus scoring a worldie when we were pumping Hibs.Definitely Miller. Took it on his chest about 25 yards out with his back to goal. Turned and volleyed it home.
Think we were 4 up at the time which helped and we signed him not long after.
