Great, let's have Stewart and Sutton making decisions on what happens in Rangers and Celtic games!
Don't think that's how VAR works.

one of them will be called "Gerry"
You just know they’re going to turn this downwe should take this oppurtunity
Some real paranoid folk in this thread, the ones who think it’s a bad thing.
They'd need to start showing replays that might favour Rangers then, or would they??Grant Philips @PhilipsGrant 3h3 hours ago
The @SPFL and Referee Chiefs @sfa are welcome to trail VAR on our Scottish Live matches... sure the referees would welcome the assistance. @btsportfootball

There is a lot of anger directed at our referees... well here you go, we @btsportfootball are offering the @spfl and @Sfa to trial VAR on our Live games... let’s do it?
Darrell Currie added,
Will never happen as it would basically mean only games involving Rangers and Celtic get fair decisions. Do BT show games between other teams?!
Yes BT show other games
Ayr v Inverness 7/12/18
Livingston v Hearts 14/12/18
Ayr v Dundee United 25/1/19
Kilmarnock v Hearts 1/2/19
Motherwell v Hearts 17/2/19
Dundee v Hibs 22/2/19
over the next couple of months
Aye, coz Stewart and Sutton would be the referees in the van checking the VAR feed
I don’t disagree, percent a couple of seasons ago Feyenoord were the only side to have goal line technology in the league. So similar has been done elsewhere!
Don't they have some *** of an ex ref commenting on decisions? If its him we're fùcked.
To easy and obviousThere is cameras at every game, what’s to stop the fourth official and referee checking a monitor?
From the mob who wouldnt pay the going rate for the new deal, pathetic, if it gets brought in its for all games or none at all.
Fact remains, our game cannot afford the costs/upkeep of VAR
We can't afford goal line tech for same reason
We can't even afford to pay our referees full time so they could, like, maybe get better?
You are off your headplenty of corruption potential in it, this is the SFA/SPFL we are talking about
I think the refs would welcome it. Shouldn’t any VAR panel be made up of retired ex refs? At least 3?
I don’t think they’ll go for it though because you then don’t need the compliance officer. Who would the Twatter mentally challengeds complain to then?
Yes, who else? What even ex SFA referees ?
Blatantly. They won’t want anyone interfering with their cosy little set-up.You just know they’re going to turn this down
The same incidents that are highlighted by VAR everywhere in the world. And who decides what incidents are highlighted, it would need to be a separate entity to avoid accusations of bias.
As I suspectedYes, who else?
Yes, who else?
Yes quite possibly. Pick up the odd stream here and hear the comments of we have an ex referees opinion and that should have been a red card etc etc. Fits right into the corrupt SPL and I am struggling to recall a decision he commented on where we benefited from his opinion. Are you thinking of Dermott Gallagher at Sky?
Hank I'm all for it but only if we have clarity on who these people are and we are not being ruled further by more incompetent half wits with hidden agendas.I’m sensing you’re against it?
Not so many, Hibs v Hearts and a couple of others. Will never happen as it would basically mean only games involving Rangers and Celtic get fair decisions. Do BT show games between other teams?!
