Yes this is the derogatory term sutton has sounded live while being employed as a 'pundit' to describe our player Morelos.

Rangers has to step in now and do something about this witch hunt against Morelos.

Its absolute scandalous the way hes being treated now.

And the fact is if sellik would have won the tie on the 29th none of this nonsense with statements, name calling, death threats ect would have happened.

Time the media done their jobs properly.

Totally agree. The club should not stand for one of their employees being described in this way. Would imagine that club 1872 might feel it necessary to comment, as well.

I cant believe a guy being employed to be professional is getting away with this.

If an ex Rangers player called Sinclair a derogatory name it would be front page and first story on stv news, thats fact.

Said it before but the club has to put their foot down here and tell BT Sport there's no more co operation from us until they sort that cúnt out. We're being dehumanised by this cretin at every turn.

He wouldn't get away with that sort of crap with an EPL player on their coverage of that so why should we be any different ?

It's a shocking way for an allegedly professional and impartial pundit to speak about a player. He is clearly and intentionally being both offensive and inflammatory.

But come on, it's not racist. Let's not band that around willy nilly. Morelos nickname is 'El Buffalo' it's his own, our own and obviously not offensive to him.

If that wasn't his nickname then yes, I would agree that it is racist.

I'm struggling to get offended by buffalo brains to be honest
Me neither and alfredo prob doesnt give two f@£ks aswell but the point is someone in muttons position shouldn't be using such terms to describe players he's doing punditry on the man "if you can call him that" is a disgrace. In fact we should have a ban on talking about the chunt on here.

He doesn’t really set foot in ibrox though. Only games on tv are away games, except old firm, which sky have the rights to.
I guess you're right, upon thinking about it.

For someone in that position, he certainly has a lot to say about us. Public apology required at the very least in this instance.

Completely agree with this.

This isn't a laugh, some Old Firm banter or even Sutton playing a controversial character. It is the use of the bully pulpit to attack the most promising young player in the league and keep adding emphasis to the idea that he shouldn't be tolerated here.

It is time for our club to defend him and make it clear to BT that we will not stand for it.

It’s up their with the shit that Pedro had to put up with from the media.

They went after him because he was the figurehead for Rangers as manager.

They go after Alfie because they know he will and is destroying their dreams.

On the one hand it means we are beating them on the park so lovely stuff. But on the other, it’s not something an incredibly talented 22 year old foreigner should have to face from so called professionals.

Absolutely disgraceful on balance.

Said previously as others have too that this is bullying of a 22 yo young man from a foreign land who is trying to make a career for himself! In what other industry or walk of life would this be deemed acceptable? The club should be making a complaint to the pricks employers!

Come on FFS,this talk might be OK down the pub with your mates, but this is a National Broadcaster we're talking about here. This kind of slur/defamation should not be heard in such circles and the club should be all over this in defence of their employee. As another poster has said. This is a prime time to take a scalp and set an example to others of a like mind. The club and or 1872 should be acting on this now.Just try Thumb Head and see how far you get.

Correct. And this isn't about being offended or that crap either.

Sutton wouldn't do it to any other player in any other team. This is him and his sneering contempt for us as a club. Look at last year when he blindsided Pedro at Dingwall and was allowed by BT as Currie gleefully looked on only to find Pedro shot him down. Or the year before that when he blindsided DJ on Clyde and Keevins et al stood by and watched their pal be tore apart.

He's a loudmouthed yob who cannot bring any semblance of impartiality when it comes to us on that channel. He wouldn't act like to any other player on their CL or EPL coverage why the fúck should Morelos be treated different ?

Had already fired a complaint into them and dropped it on Twitter to them as well that I will be cancelling and Sutton is the main reason. I don't really care if they aren't bothered or not but it might encourage someone to do the same - if it picks up they'll care. Their board will be more concerned about losing money that they will about Sutton and others winding Rangers fans up. Imagine even a couple of 1000 people cancelled - that would be nearly half a million across the various subscription types.

Is Sutton WORTH £500k a year to them?

The club should simply not allow our players or management to be interviewed by by until Sutton personally comes out and apologises for his comments.

This is spot on.

Dignified silence is not an option against this persistently poisonous prick.

He has proved time and again he cannot report on Rangers objectively as his hatred consumes him, we removed McLaughlin's press privileges for exactly that.

BT don't cover that many games at Ibrox now the Europa League is over, but regardless we should very publicly remove Sutton's press access to our stadium and inform BT we will not take part in any interviews on any broadcast he is part of.

BT have a contract to televise some of our games so I think the club should contact them on Alfie's behalf and demand a public grovelling apology or sack the cvnt.
