I walked past yesterday,as you say blocked from looking inside but not much else going onHas anyone noticed if the work is underway yet? Can see there is now things blocking the door so you can’t see in but there’s not been much activity when I’ve passed by.
I suspect that if Sports Direct still has any time left on the lease they will make sure we don't get in till the last possible minute
There was never a specific date on it.I was thinking this but someone was saying on here last month they knew all their stock was now moved out and the store was back in our hands to start the work.
I don’t know if I’ve picked up information wrong from interviews but I was under the impression the store was opening around August 1st or was it just said to be August with no specific date confirmed? Even if it was 31st August, I’d like to think the work would be starting soon.
There was never a specific date on it.
For some weird reason Rangers said 1st August in that statement last week about SD. We all know it won’t be ready by then.
Don't panic Nick Knowles has been spotted at Glasgow Airport
Says mid August on new website but Tom Beahon said 1st August in 4 lads interview.I thought Tom beahon said 1st August in the 4 lads interview last week

Castore have prioritised the Ibrox Store over their new store in Liverpool.
1st of August is a Saturday and a(n) (away) match day, first game of the season. Be a strange day to open.
Or genius. Game is at 5.30pm and the store opens at say 9. Place will be empty by the time the game starts.
Good thinking. Staff discount for daddy! Are they recruiting?
Daughter just finished 6th year, decided to defer uni due to the virus so she needs to start earning.

They handed the shop back to the club 2 weeks ago.I suspect that if Sports Direct still has any time left on the lease they will make sure we don't get in till the last possible minute
Strip launch day though.1st of August is a Saturday and a(n) (away) match day, first game of the season. Be a strange day to open.
Its not a huge shop, so I wouldn't imagine it being difficult to gut and refit it within a 2 week period. Its only 8th of July, so there is loads of time until 1st August.
Went by again earlier. Still absolutely nothing happening.
Can’t see it being open in 12 days!
Looks like the only place you’ll be able to physically buy a kit on August 1st is Sports Direct.
Cluster %^*&.
Are they not talking about mid August completion now? I’d say that’s pretty unrealistic but hope I’m proved wrong

Cluster f*ck.
No doubt they will be being awkward and dragging their heels over this. Anything to "get up the Rangers" from this mhob.Don’t think GCC have approved the planning as of yet.
Admin is coming!!!! Tell all the Tims you know!!
Status - Incorrect Fee
Hmm wonder what that means.
Would this not be against the law?No doubt they will be being awkward and dragging their heels over this. Anything to "get up the Rangers" from this mhob.
I would say Rangers haven't paid the correct fee for the certificate required or I could say that the Council are acting the cvnt.

Sure you will be able to buy in JD Sports or Greaves if Castore have a deal with them?
