I think that ship sailed some time ago!Bye Bye Major Tournaments
Good appointment and good that we can expect to beat Killie again
England getting to the semi last year is an overated achievement. Yes you can only beat whos put in front of you. But their biggest win was beating colombia on pens.Although I don't think he is a world beater by any stretch, i'm fairly sure Southgate would have an argument with this given a World Semi last year
I think that ship sailed some time ago!
Nail, head, hitScum managing scum.
Wish him and them nothing but misery.
Sick of seeing the miserable b@st@rd on sky sports news today, I hope he and the tartan trannies get stuffed every game.He , the SFA and the tartan trannies deserve each other , i wish them nothing but miserable failure.
For all the moaning on here there is no denying that Clarke is a good coach and a decent manager who has done well with very limited resources at Killie. He’s probably the most sensible appointment Scotland could make right now. He’s also pragmatic, which means he’ll have no hesitation picking Rangers players if it helps the national team. Those thinking he would not do so are not being realistic. Yes he’s a dour, miserable character but that doesn’t make him a bad choice for Scotland manager.
I honestly don’t know how well he’ll do without that massive advantage he gets from that ‘pitch’ and the weekly preferential refereeing they seem to get.
A team of thugs and divers will get nothing in modern day international football.

So this leaves Moyes to the ***’s then?
Preferential refereeing? They got 3 people sent off in one match a couple weeks back.
With the crowds Scotland get these days, Rugby Park will be quite adequate. Will his first call up be Killie’s artificial pitch?
Probably a decent enough appointment to be fair.
They will bomb out of the league mateAllegiances aside, it’s a good appointment for Scotland.
That said, I still won’t really be following the NT.
Also, means he’s now not going to get the dhims job so that’s good.
Also, Killie will now bomb out of Europe.
So he's going cold turkey then?I’ve heard he’s on a hefty win bonus. For every win Scotland get, he gets 5 crates of MD 20/20
