Clubs in CL get 'bonus' points, noticed the teams at the top some have nine points on top of performance.

Yes, 4 for making the groups even if you don't have to play qualifiers plus 5 for making the knock out rounds.

All sides that make the group stage get 4 bonus points those that make the knockout get another 5 bonus points

The most any of the other teams have contributed in the past 5 seasons is 2 points. Aberdeen this season and Hibs last season.

It's fantasy to believe than any team in Scotland outwith the OF are going to contribute to raising the coefficient. Aberdeen always get found out in Europe because neutral referees don't let the thuggery succeed so much. The rest are just rank rotten - plain rank rotten in a European context.

If we finish this season in 15th or above we're sorted for season 21/22? Is there any advantage in finishing above 15th but below 10th (which is presumably beyond us)?

The higher we climb, the more room we have to have an off year in the future. I suppose.

Outwith us and them all it really does is maybe add an extra team to get humiliated mid july by Albanian goat feckers fc..

That's a bad thing.
Every extra team means each point we get is worth less to the coefficient.

It's going to be even more important when we've 5 Scottish teams in Europe that all teams do reasonably well.

Don't get your hopes up too much on that one, bud.
