Nothing to do with being on camera. We are being told that we are getting more tickets than them. We will get 2700 max based on the allocation the bheasts give to euro teams. The rangers support will be stuck in the corner whilst that lot get premier unobstructed views when they come to our stadium.

Some don't care about their view or impact on other supporters who will miss out at Ibrox to accommodate the bheasts according to you. Great outlook that is.

You're now bringing up things you didn't mention in the post I replied to, which was about being stuck in the corner with a shite view. Most fans who are in favour of some kind of away support at Parkhead won't care about this.

Due to the layout of their stadium, 2500 fans having a premier, unobstructed view at Parkhead for the away support is virtually impossible.

Not sure how this is brilliant news for the traveling support , there’s 12 to 15k register for every away game , you’ll be lucky if a thousand go to MYGers for this , you always got at least one ticket a season with the old allocation for parkheed , they’ll still be gold members nowhere near this fixture next season

It’s a compromise in that it gets our support back into the away fixture. There was a lot of desire among a lot of our support to make this happen.

On the other hand we’ve conceded to celtics “Ibrox unsafe” narrative with all of the safety net stuff.

Where are all these seats coming from to move the st holders affected by the scum
And the season ticket holders getting moved for the disabled access

I had said the 2500 European allocation was the logical and best solution, as someone who loved going to Parkhead to see my team win. But I had thought that meant every one of our season holders got a seat at the game. If we are denying entry to just 1 so more Celtic fans are there, then it's a bad move.

Because it's not about the numbers.

It's about the impact on our own supporters. There are no STs for Europe. We are now offering discounted STs for the League and failing to guarantee those ST holders seats for the two biggest games of the season - and this is to accommodate the away support of our only domestic rival.

It also accommodates our own away support.

Why is there zero tickets the last two games? Honestly the spfl are just a parody at this point. Celtic literally told them to go and %^*& themselves and their rules and they do %^*& all.

Glad there’s a compromise. Long as our fans aren’t stuck in that shite restricted view bit of their midden and need to be ready for an escort to the stadium 3 hours before hand like has been the case the last few years.
Already saying we will be in the same area at the piggery.

I think it’s bad. The continual compromises we are asked to make as a club and fan base are slowly eroding our identity. In terms of around 5% I suspect in real terms that will mean they get 2500 seats and we’ll get no more than that hence ‘around’ 5%

Yeah, great. A restricted view and stuck in a corner. Its a big win for us. Embarrassing stuff, tbh.

You'll need to point out where I said, "big win."

As previously said, none of these posts seem to acknowledge the different stadium layouts, the impossibility of our away support being placed elsewhere and the Piggery being a bigger stadium.

I agree more with those concerned about the positioning and restricted views rather than the 5% figure, so difficult to cast a vote due to that.
That's my position as well. We're stuck in that shitty corner again by the look of things, while they get prime seating with great views and far more exposure to both the players on the field and those watching on TV.
The way the fans are sited means you'll see and hear that lot way more, willing to bet they're delighted with this. And, due to 'segregation concerns' you just know we'll get a bit less than agreed.

I posted a picture of our likely allocation at the pigsty which you omitted from your initial reply. Are the two proposed allocations proportionate?

You stated that folk won't care about the impact and have reinforced this view again in the quoted post. I find that selfish.

I would prefer to see our stadium filled with Rangers supporters and not see people having to be moved to accommodate that lot.

We won't agree so I will leave it there.

That’s utterly pathetic and you should know better.

Yes, it's a cheap jibe.

But you've used this platform to criticise Bisgrove repeatedly. Now you're celebrating a decision by the same man who brought us Australia to remove games from Ibrox ST holders.

It's an awful look and another kick-in-balls for the loyal home support - you know the ones the Club like to patronise every now and again with a 'thank you'.

It might not be such a kick if the Club had used the opportunity to secure allocations across the country. But no. This is simply due to Celtic forcing the issue.

It's first come first serve of when tickets become available. Some will miss out.But good to you and a few others got their wish and ST holders were fucked over in the process, all in the name of where's ma piggery ticket.
They are still going to see the game mate it’s not as big a deal as being made out stadium also adding seats this summer so chances of some missing are slim.

Its for the better deep down you know that the game is all we have to market in this country and having no away fans was killing the special and unique atmosphere and experience.

If I sat there I would be annoyed but not too much as I know I’ll get relocated.

I want our fans in their stadium too it’s sorely missed nobody can deny that especially us that go to away games too

Where are the Board fighting over ticket allocations for Rugby Park, Easter Road, Pittodrie etc… or we just allowing the home team to dictate?
It’s quite clear what the differences are here. The % we get in these grounds is already way over the 5% mark

Also rangers v Celtic is the game the tv deal is centred on. Clearly different

However you try to paint it our board has caved
Perhaps some behind the scenes pressure from sponsors / tv came to bear but looks like another victory for them
If you think they are going to play by the rules or even more naively play fair with the allocations please send me your details as I have some magic beans that you'll want to buy

How is it " impossible " for our away support to be placed elsewhere at the piggery.? A bigger stadium should mean we should have even more choice of seating.

Then we aren't getting 5% of the stadium. Segregation is the home teams problem. So away teams shouldn't lose tickets
im in full agreement with that, but we know how things generally play out when that shower are involved, for me I think this is how they will play it, 5% of seats ,but not 5% of the crowd

I suppose same would apply at Ibrox. If we don't get 3000 at first game then we make sure they don't get 2500

Why is it always the people who don’t go home and away saying the club have been spineless?

It’s the travelling fans who have told the club this is the best thing to do and they’ve listened.
Or people who admit they’ve been to Parkhead before and enjoyed their days out there calling others selfish for wanting to go.

The mental gymnastics are spectacular

How are folk failing to grasp that Sky have probably played a part in this, the old firm has a reputation of one of the best derbies in the world, they'll 100% want healthy away supports at these fixtures.

As far as I can see, the post of yours to which I replied didn't have a picture - you were replying to another poster who had posted one.

And no, the two proposed allocations aren't proportionate. I'd have thought that would have been clear from my first post on the thread.

You're now stating that I said "folk won't care about the impact." I have said no such thing - in every one of my exchanges with you, I have talked specifically about our fans not caring about the location of our proposed allocation - the demand for those tickets will be through the roof, and people will tolerate it to attend the game.

To sing songs that media deem offensive……make their minds up

We are adding circa 600 seats overall from this Summer's proposed changes. The increased allocation will see us give up an extra 1700 seats, plus maybe a few more with increased segregation.

I'd say the chances of someone missing out - particularly if its a parent and child seated together or even a parent and two children seated together - are more than 'slim'. Its the Family Stand after all, not everyone is a 'loner' who can be easily relocated.

Been said many times before but follow follow surveys aren’t exactly representative of the fan base as a whole.

If the club really cared about fan opinion they’d have done a full season ticket holder survey but they haven’t, much like they just implemented the union bears relocation

What people are failing to grasp is this decision was made due to pressure from sky, sponsors and corporate season ticket holders at both clubs

They aren't. Some STHs won't be guaranteed old firm games. All to accommodate scum fans and those Rangers fans that were greetin because they couldn't get to the Piggery. Let's see if any of them step forward to offer their home ticket to those that can't now attend due to this. I'll bet not one is willing to do so.
