Copenhagen goalscorer charged by cops

The officer was knocked off his feet by a reckless player charging at him while his back was turned. IDGAF if the person that did it just scored against the mhanks. Don't have a problem with him getting charged.

Crowd control is not Seamy Big Balls. A guy doing as he's been instructed and getting knocked on his arse is a lot of shite and the player deserves to be punished.

They are there to control a situation, not inflame it. Which one do you think he did by grabbing a player by the scruff of his neck and pointing at his (Richard)head? Why does it only happen at Porkheid?

Forgive my ignorance but, what does that mean?

The mentally challenged cop should have done what cops do stadiums the world round.

But he didn't he chose to act like a bawbag.

Copper deserved it for being a bitter w4nk

coppers in paedodome pick and choose when to police certain situations
That’s what the poster sticking up for the policeman needs to understand.
The law is intended to be fair and equal, and consistent.
Not just applied when it suits.
(and, I do know get when it is correct not to be consistent, hence the ”intended” line.)

Cops shouldn't be on the grass at football stadiums. Quite right he was put on his backside.

He should be on the track round the pitch in-front of the away end and can get involved if the player leaves the turf, he didn't. The cop was just a raging jobsworth.

IMHO at least, it feels that opposing players do get more aggressively policed (by police or stewards) at the scumpit. There has to be a reason for this (if trure of course) - either there is a danger to players or supporters caused by players celebrating or the Policing is corrupt.

Knowing that too many Bear policemen would leak something if the corrupt angle leads me to believe there is an issue with players celebrating with their fans at Parkhead, which tells us that Parkhead is an unsafe venue and scum need to address the issues that cause this. The Authorities should, therefore, start issuing fines to Celtic until they fix the issues.

As for the Copenhagen player. I have no issue with the player who scored the goal - he reacted as you would expect whilst being aggressively stopped. However, the second player should not run up and push anyone in the back. Quite frankly it would be better for him to be charged and as a court case could run with the safety angle and would be bad news for the scums PR machine.

The opposition aren't allowed to celebrate with their fans at the piggery. Remember the "shame game" when we did a two second huddle? That was deemed as bad as their numerous field invasions, Dallas getting his head split open and the barrage of missiles aimed at Van Bronkhurst.

Its called the Celtic way.

Some other clown policeman or sympathetic to them was on here explaining that the away end is policed and stewarded with more numbers as its a safety measure of crushing, the height and slope of the stand causing issues. That's complicit from police and the local authority. Situation that arised should never have happened and would not happen if safety measure of cutting numbers or closure of safety certificate for the stadium. Police should never be in a position that they're grabbing at players especially when the player has his back to him and clearly wouldn't expect such heavy handed measure. Good on the player sticking up for his teammate and barging into the clown.

Good summary - 25 years ago that player could have been arrested (post game perhaps) and spent the night in a cell.

Be very surprised if the PF takes this any further.

Next time we win there our players should run and celebrate in front of the tramps that are left in the place. All the plods stood in front of our fans would look a right bunch of lemons.

Sombody on another forum says the matter was concluded by way of a Fiscal warning letter apparently a the request of Celtic as they feared a UEFA sancton if this had went any further. Make out of that what you will???

So the senior police officer who decided being knocked over was serious enough to press charges, later decided it wasn't serious after all because Celtic told him so?

That would be mental if it was true. However we live in crazy times.

Its almost as if that senior police officer didnt really have any power or control over the whole situation at all.
