I always thought he was quite solid and dependable.

C’mon tae feck, man.A fantastic centre half. I rated him higher than big Lorenzo.

You jest, you’re fishing.
Got to be.
Did he play all four league games against the scum in 96-97?I don't think under rated more like he had limited ability. He never let Walter down when asked to do the holding midfield role against them.
Wouldn’t say under rated most knowledgable fans knew he was a very good player for us who rarely made any mistakes.I always thought he was quite solid and dependable.

I know it's a controversial viewpoint, but I always had full confidence in Moore to do the right thing as a centre half, where as with Amoruso I had a wee bit of doubt. Amoruso was a great defender but I always thought Moore was that bit better. Just my opinion.C’mon tae feck, man.

Not sure about the first one but pretty sure he started the other 3 . He started more advanced than Albertz in the last one at the piggeryDid he play all four league games against the scum in 96-97?
The first thought of many of us when his name is mentioned. He was a superb centre half on form. Hampered a bit by being played at right back and in midfield previously.
His tackle that sent Larsson crashing into the advertising boards was a thing of beauty
On his return to the club and playing as a centre half, his natural position, he was very reliable and as you say absolutely hard as nails. I'd say underrated definitely.Under Smith he very rarely played at centre half but it was only when Advocatt brought him back from Crystal Palace that he showed his true quality. He is a good solid player and was hard as nails.

Love that tacticHe mastered the art of tackling. Take the ball with the right foot then wipe the opposition player out with the left. Loved it.
