Sure did bro an 1 trophy in near 8 years in charge of sheepDid he not get hunted from one of the think it was Bristol Clubs?
Exactly. Leave him be. Rubbish manager and a rubbish team.Del is doing just fine where he is. Why would we want him out?
That's a myth that seems to have grown arms and legs on here.
There were plenty of polls where he was at the bottom of the list.
A few wanted him. The vast majority didn't.
Then there were a few threads saying we need to back him if he gets the job. But he was never a popular choice
Let's not kid ourself, he wasDerek Mc Innes was never approached officially by Rangers, Aberdeen came out publicly prior to our supposed attempt, and stated he was staying in Aberdeen, thank %^*&, as I would have stuck my season ticket in the bin if that wee arsehole and his mentally challenged sidekick were going manage my team.
You are the one that is dreamingWas he %^*&, you keep dreaming mate.
I think the circumstances are well known and you are near enough spot onMcInnes had verbally agreed to be our manager. Was on the road down but shat it and called Aberdeen to say he was staying and they quickly released a statement to make it look like he was never coming.
Thank %^*&.
I think you should stop digging that big hole you are inHow about he never got offered the job in the first place because he was never good enough.
However you keep blowing smoke up a wee diddie’s who would win nothing at Rangers.
It's not really strong enough now. Dodged a landmine maybe closer. The phrase "dodged a bullet" comes to mind
So he wasn't at Mar hall at all .....?How about he never got offered the job in the first place because he was never good enough.

More like a tank shell. The phrase "dodged a bullet" comes to mind
For an ex player he doesn‘t seem too fond of us these days either. He's doing a decent job at the sheep, for me.
I don't stress too much over, DM.
Seems there is a lot of hate for him.
This absolute shyster gets far too much coverage on here.
Surely it wasn’t as high as 80% ?Just be glad the threads are just for laughing at him now and not for 80% of the forum to give him the thumbs up to be our next manager.
Surely it wasn’t as high as 80% ?
Can‘t recall the stats at the time but there must have been a high number who were accepting of him based on he seemed the only option and the desperation factor.Trust me it was, I’ll never forget it because it could never get my head around it, even accounting for the fact we were desperate at the time.

my understanding that there was 2 things , McInnes wouldn't walk out on Aberdeen and Rangers didn't want to pay the remainder of McInnes and his backrooms contracts to get them, also McInnes's wife and family stay in the central belt and the intrusion on their lives up until the Thursday before Milne and McInnes press conference was that bad she basically told him to stay put with Aberdeen , given how quick we'd got rid of Pedro she may have had a point
No mate you are not sure where your information came from but I trust mine 100%.You are so far from the truth, let’s just be glad that your version never ever happened .
