Probably still more us than them, but the mates I keep in touch with don't follow the football all that closely. Only really got two or three close mates who support them, and they're not twats. I have quite a few Irish mates who are more sympathetic to them, but they couldn't really give a %^*&, they're all Man U or Liverpool fans.

Living abroad (US), there's a lot of people of both allegiances I just don't see anymore. Over here I don't run into too many of us or them, the few Rangers fans I know here, more Americans than Scottish, keep an eye on the scores but don't follow the day-to-day. Makes places like this (even when it's mental) and Heart & Hand all the more important.

I don't tend to socialise with them, must be subconscious because don't go out of my way to avoid them. I generally find that they are a pretty unpleasant bunch but have met a few over the years that are OK.

Up in Highlands there are definitely more of us than them.

The people I hang about with are almost all Rangers.

Feel like everyone I meet supports Celtic now though, both out and about and in work.

Rangers fans by quite some distance. Obviously that’s massively helped by travelling to games etc on bus. Add in school etc which was a very high % of us. As others have said nearly all of my friends are Rangers supporters

Id imagine you ask this on a Celtic forum the vast majority would be them also.
That's because most of them are the same family

A bit of a debate, always remember King saying that " we could miss a generation of fans"
theirs no way of seeing who has the larger fan base, we can argue all day with them but i'd like to know if you know more Rangers fans or them?

Unfortunately adding family and friends up its more them than us in my circle, was wondering what yours is?
Mostly scum fans unfortunately..........
Through my job with DHSS.

Only joking btw.

Defo. All my closest mates are bears, and they are all active I.e they go to games. Any celtic fans I know don't bother their arse.

Had the misfortune of a Glasgow airport interaction with one today.
I could have counted the total amount of teeth he had on one hand.
“Am a big cellic man me”
“Am baurred fae cellic park me - ma mate ran on tae thu park an skelped the AC Milan keeper” How he got banned, I’m not sure
“Ma misses runs a’ the bars at cellic park”
Keep yer enemies closer - %^*& that

Given that i have not only good looks, charisma, intelligence, style, impeccable manners, i am hung like a horse, have all my own teeth and place a great importance on personal hygiene i tend to associate only with like minded people.
I hope that answers the question.

I know a large amount of scum due to family but I've chosen well with friends and I keep to my own.

Must admit I’m 50/50 my mates and really wouldn’t want it either way.
Was at my mates funeral today in Royston, the priest was a big black fella, the guy that hits the gonk and waves the incense also black.
In the big Glen after it said to my mates “see what happens when you let one in”;)

Vast majority of my office are Bears, and unfortunately I got stuck at a desk with a proper chapel going bhead rattler. They’re also full of shite chat, so I get both barrels.

I don't socialise with any Celtic fans.

I really only interact with them at work.

I definitely feel better for it.

More Rangers, have to mix with celtic due to village life, more better than others. Have to work with some mouthy scum at work.

Best thing is to learn facts and throw facts back in their face all day long. They hate it.

Above all, stand up for yourself, your club and your heritage.

Know quite a lot, my town (and surrounding) seems to be very split amongst my generation with us, them & St Mirren fans.

It’s probably even between us & them, with St Mirren fans making up about 25% of people I know with a few Aberdeen, Motherwell & Hearts fans (bizarre I know).

Over the course of it I obviously know more bears through Rangers games or such, speaking geographically though I would say it’s even. Met a bitter one last night, got all excited when I could give her some stick.

See quite a few at houses or football due to friend groups but will only go out my way to speak to the decent ones.
Decent one?

Don’t know any scum fans

Definitely got a lot more mates who are Rangers fans but have a good few who support Celtic as well.
I'll be friends with anyone I think is a decent bloke though and couldn't give a toss the team they support.
I wouldn't be so shallow minded as to only be friends with just Rangers fans or even other Tory voters for that matter.

No mates who are Celtic but I work with a few, none are match going so their opinions get clamped pretty quickly.

I help run a Rangers bus so obviously know a few Bears so to speak. My wife’s family support that lot but it’s never really been a problem. They know I don’t dish it out and they mostly do the same.

To be perfectly honest, anyone that uses football allegiance as the sole basis for a friendship must be a bit simple

I've met plenty of Rangers fans who were wankers over the years and celtic fans who were decent. And obviously vice versa.

Won't make any effort to be friends with scum supporters. My kids are the same, we Don want them in our life in any shape or form.

Mostly bears but one of my closest mates is one of them.

One of the few who didn’t want us moved down the leagues, said it was shite without us and wants us to do well in Europe for the coefficient.

So not rabid.

It is widely accepted that in the borders of Scotland and the UK that Rangers are a bigger supported team than Celtic. I red once that there are an estimated 1 million Rangers supporters in Scotland alone - which is 20% of the population.. When you take into account those that don't support any team or an English team then Rangers must be one of the biggest if not thee biggest supported club by head in Europe.

My mum used to say , ‘you can always judge someone by the company that they keep ‘.

So on that matter I’m glad the poll is overwhelmingly us :))

Have one Celtic supporting pal who I never became friends with until my mid 20s when we worked together.
All my pals are from school or fitba so wouldn't really be any way for me to have a pals that support Celtic. Only a handful in the area I grew up as well.

Nobody in any of my 3 main group chats support Celtic.

At an acquaintance level 127 people I have as pals on Insta follow Rangers; 36 follow the Celtic page.

As a club celtic have more overall followers on insta and twitter (by about 150-200k) than Rangers and more than twice the followers on Facebook (about 900k vs 2.1m).

Group of 12 pals that I am still as close to that I have had since s1. 3 of them are celtic fans, 2 are ST holders. Good guys though and it makes for decent slagging banter at the pub.

Oh, 100% more bears.

Coming into contact with more yahoos working in Glasgow but they just confirm every stereotype so I won't be getting to know them.

I know a few, mostly former school mates but they aren’t the hardline match going political type. You don’t really get many of those up here thankfully.
