Dundee away not on tv?

Are the pubs in the uk able to access this through rangers tv due to the package they have or will it only be shown abroad, heading down to Blackpool for the weekend ?

We don’t have a god given to right to have our games on the tele pal.
And who's fault is that? The spfl and sky should be pushing our games. If it wasn't for us the only TV deal the spfl would have would be with BBC alba

Yeah but how many away tickets do we get now to some of these diddy clubs.
Thousands for most games.

Fans have just got to used to being able to watch every away game on tv, as someone said above we don't have the right to have every away game on TV, even though I agree it's weird sky don't have to pull in the most viewers.

There is usually only one away game in the league per seson not shown on tv so hopefully this is a one off.

The point being though that many more will want to view the game and can’t get tickets, so it would be mutually beneficial to sky and our support to screen the game. I appreciate it isn’t always ideal for those lucky enough to get tickets but in this day and age, all games should be broadcast and the tv ban should be kicked into touch. That way everyone wins.

Why are there so many of us and their away game not on TV?

Every single 1 should be on TV as part of the contract
There has historically been a limit on how many home games of one team can be shown. Assume that is the case with the current deal too. That and there are 15-20 fewer matches overall to be televised compared to the two deals under the old Sky Sports and BT joint rights agreement.

That’s just tough tbh. How many clubs in England are in the same position.

It shouldn’t be ‘tough’ though. You look at the nfl, you can pick your match and watch it. There is no reason that we couldn’t have a similar situation. The demand would be there and we could make revenues far in excess of those we currently receive.

The authorities are useless, constantly devaluing our product and why should we not be allowed to screen games at 3 pm?

A thought the option to buy from Dundee ppv 3pm Saturday was available? Advertising on there site for £12.50. Perhaps this is for non uk?

The 3pm Black out hasn't been reinstated by the sfa. So the home club could sell this as ppv.

48 games on sky was 60 previously we don't have the god given right to have every away game on sky.

Saturday at 3 the way it's meant to be...

Publicians must be raging. Tumbleweed during that Dundee derby pish on Sunday - not a single glance at the tele. If Livvy v Angeball had been on - would’ve been rammed (and a good pre match laugh for us!)

Interesting, has that been announced officially anywhere?
It was agreed to rollover broadcast agreements from last season to this season

That means clubs can stream home games via their website or app only including any 3pm Saturday games subject to existing contracultural broadcast agreements

Rangers v Livingston & Celtic games weren't available in the UK PPV via Rangers TV as they were on Sky Sports

Scottish FA are only ones that can to enforce it and UEFA have article 48 to back up the national associations on that matter

England is the only country to impose it this season

What abut the Livingston game, will it be live on RTV in the USA?
Yeah, Livi game available to those overseas now. See OP in thread linked below.

Unless you are actually in the USA I wouldn’t recommend you go there via VPN. Better bet is France, Belgium, The Netherlands or Germany.

Overall the SPL product offering is shite.
