Doing terribly with Atalanta. Champions last year and now one of the bottom teams.
Was his spell at Ajax a lucky spell, as he has struggled everywhere since.

Inter was a crazy choice and then Palace even worse!I really feel for Frank, great player who could be a good coach but it has gone down hill after Ajax, inter was a huge mistake and think he should go back to basics in Eridivise and start again.

I remember a lot of excitement when we were linked with him. Bullet dodged maybe
He would have been a success here
correct, he was linked after Pedro though! We appointed Pedro and then Murty. The bullet not only hit us but it got us right between the eyes.
Based on?He would have been a success here
Based on?
My expert opinionBased on?
No other reason than it goes against the general mood of the thread.
He does that in every thread.
How much time? We don't have the time I'm afraidI think he’d have needed time. And I’m not sure we’d have been prepared to give him it.
Atlanta lost Miguel Almiron who was a big player for them.
MLS is quite competitive with not much between a lot of sides and Atlanta have been playing well but not getting the results - though their defence hasn't looked great.
If he gets time he might still turn it round.
I think Ajax and the structure there suited him.
See Paul Le Guen.
Well said.We appointed Pedro and then Murty. The bullet not only hit us but it got us right between the eyes.
Must admit I was one who wanted himI remember a lot of excitement when we were linked with him. Bullet dodged maybe
me too to be honest!Must admit I was one who wanted him
Much as I love the de Boer brothers a class act on and off the field however Frank in particular seems to have the personality of a damp squid and it doesn’t seem to me he’s ever going to be a top manager anywhere now . Ajax was a fit for him with a structure he’s grown up with .

Good manager, win another league title and his career is back on track after two unsuccessful spells at Inter and Crystal Palace where he was barely given a chance. Not the first to fail at Inter and won't be the last.
