I left VD in 1971, so was long gone by the time of that match.

I have footage of the game which was shown on the Scottish News Channel at the time, and posted it on my Facebook group. Quite a few of the players who took part are in my group and really enjoyed watching it againWonder if any FFers played in this?,

Aye Tam Broon ran all the football teams from under 15 onwards. Ken Reid had Rangers treble pennants in his classroom.I went to VD then and cannot remember that game. I was 13 at the time. One of the Biology teachers who ran the school team Mr Brown had pictures of players on his walls in his classroom. Anybody remember him?

I remember that - one of the pictures featured a league winning team with John Wark in it (1972 ?).
Wasn't Mr Brown a Chemistry teacher I'm sure I remember him doing the "Potassium experiment".
