Gladly, he doesn’t get any of my money!
I like him and his politics...upsets the right people.
Plus his BT salary
Plus cash from Walkers
Flippin' heck
Gary, I'd also scrap the BBC TV licence so you wouldn't get paid millions for doing a job a monkey could do better.
Change personality to boring smug bassa, and the rest of your comment is fineI like him, his salary - if it didn't go to him - it would go to someone else.
He has put a lot of time becoming a tv personality after retiring where players made a relatively modest earning in comparison to now. He is entitled to his opinions, just as we are.
lol I grew up watching him on They Think its all over, maybe that's why I like him.Change personality to boring smug bassa, and the rest of your comment is fine
Bit harsh mateHorrible smarmy piece of shit.
David Squires had a fantastic comic in the guardian about all the moaning about FA Cup replays and the rank hypocrisy of Liverpool and Man City.
They could easily find someone to present MotD for £50k a year.
A grand a week to discuss football on a Saturday evening.
And you'd end up with shite like Sportscene
Can't stand the guy. A borebeg of immense proportions.
Belfast term mateYe’ve made that word up methinks.
That is simply not correct. We all have an opinion, it's just that we have to pay an obscene sum for his, even if we don't actully watch MOTD.lol, man has opinion, another man cries.
I love the internet
People tune in to watch their team, no one really gives a stuff about the chatting between the games.

No one person should pay the licence fee.No one person should earn that from my licence fee

There's no need for him on MOTD. How many people watch it live? I record it and watch it but fast forward through his and the pundits pishy bits. The programme only lasts 30-40 minutes. Save a fortune and only have a voice over to introduce the games
Is that the live viewing figures? If so then maybe I'm wrong or is it including iPlayer watches etc7 million people each weekend.

Not bad I'd say.
Agreed... needs done away with, joke of a thing. Don’t know anyone that pays it.No one person should pay the licence fee.

He bounces on his seat a lot for some reasonThankfully his opinion counts for the square root of ferk all.
