How do you think the glens would have got on this season without the republicans and aforementioned peado ?As someone who follows the Glens from afar this is shameful, This and the signing of Republicans abs a paedophille has finished me. I knew some great loyalists Glens men who are of the same opinion. Sad day really all round.
They put out a statement saying that the flags from Friday past will be at half mast till after the funeral and that they have written to the Queens rep in Belfast expressing their sympathy. It is too little too late as they did not mention a minutes silence.Have they come out and said why there was no minutes silence?
Thats worrying, i dont know much about NI football other than the Linfield / Rangers link.A club with a significant Rangers following in the heart of loyalist East Belfast.
SHAMEFUL
What did they say in their Statement? Can’t begin to understand what they were thinking and their statement did nothing but make it worse
Said they flew their flag at half mast and wrote a letter. Basically it’s worded as if they did their part. There’s no mention of a minutes silenceWhat did they say in their Statement?
Yes mate, the loyalists have spent the last week and a half handing ice cream out to on duty police officers on the streets of BelfastThats worrying, i dont know much about NI football other than the Linfield / Rangers link.
Are the prods getting soft.
I think thats a bit different to what i am asking.Yes mate, the loyalists have spent the last week and a half handing ice cream out to on duty police officers on the streets of Belfast
They had a 2 minutes silence yesterday against Aston Villa.Have a look on Liverpool’s Twitter page where they announced flying flags at half mast for the duke of Edinburgh, another shower of disrespectful scum
I’m referring to the fans not the clubThey had a 2 minutes silence yesterday against Aston Villa.
Same here mate. Have enjoyed numerous trips over to watch Glentoran over the last 25 years. As someone who follows the Glens from afar this is shameful, This and the signing of Republicans abs a paedophille has finished me. I knew some great loyalists Glens men who are of the same opinion. Sad day really all round.
I was asking about the fans/ hierarchy of Glentoran mate.Yes mate, the loyalists have spent the last week and a half handing ice cream out to on duty police officers on the streets of Belfast
What makes the fans shameful in relation to this?I’m referring to the fans not the club
Liverpool v Villa had a 2 minute silence, mate. Should maybe get your facts right. All EPL games observed the silenceHave a look on Liverpool’s Twitter page where they announced flying flags at half mast for the duke of Edinburgh, another shower of disrespectful scum
Why what have the fans done to disrespect the passing of Prince PhillipI’m referring to the fans not the club
A lot of Liverpool fans in general are mongs. Scouse not English, Trent dropped from England upsets them though. Another fan base with a chip in there shoulder who conveniently forget the Italian fans they killed. I used to like Liverpool but starting to do my head in & im hungover so want to moanHave a look on Liverpool’s Twitter page where they announced flying flags at half mast for the duke of Edinburgh, another shower of disrespectful scum
Is this another egotistical demonstration by the 1 man wrecking ball Mick McDermott?I’m a Glentoran fan. Utterly disgusted with yesterday. Shameful.
All of what you say has in no way got anything to do with the respect shown by the club in the passing of Prince Phillip though.A lot of Liverpool fans in general are mongs. He wasn’t meaning the club, he was talking about their fansAll of what you say has in no way got anything to do with the respect shown by the club in the passing of Prince Phillip though.
Irrelevant when he’s talking about the supporters’ reaction to the announcement on Twitter.Liverpool v Villa had a 2 minute silence, mate. Should maybe get your facts right. All EPL games observed the silence
They might be getting the benefit of having no fans atm and in turn no dissent from the terraces. Is this another egotistical demonstration by the 1 man wrecking ball Mick McDermott?
Or is it driven by the hate filled Republican players that now dominate the team?
I can't believe the GSCs have lay back and did nothing over the 2 years with every radical "Look at me" decision Mental Mick has persued
Have a look on Liverpool’s Twitter page where they announced flying flags at half mast for the duke of Edinburgh, another shower of disrespectful scum
Where has he mentioned the fans? The club flew flags at half mast as well as respecting the silence, nothing in his post mentions the fans. The post only refers to the clubHe wasn’t meaning the club, he was talking about their fans
Fair enough, I clicked on meaning fans as I seen the replies to the tweet in fairnessWhere has he mentioned the fans? The club flew flags at half mast as well as respecting the silence, nothing in his post mentions the fans. The post only refers to the club

Liverpool is full of the worst type of Irish immigrant. People dont trust or like Scousers for many valid reasons.I’m referring to the fans not the club
And then he also clarified by saying exactly that.He asked us to have a look at Liverpools twitter page when they announced flying flags at half mast. Most of us understood that he was meaning the comments were from disrespecting scum.
Any popularity of Scousers is entirely amongst themselves or in their imagination. No surprise at all that their bin dipping fans would show disrespect.Liverpool is full of the worst type of Irish immigrant. People dont trust or like Scousers for many valid reasons.
I’m a Glenman and I don’t know anyone who supports yesterday’s foolish decision. Another thread on this was chopped but I said there that East Belfast was hit hard by the Nazis and the Oval had a bomb dropped on it. The Duke served his country against Hitler and deserves our respect. Also the fans have no say over transfer policy so the comments about the Republicans in the squad and the convicted paedo can’t be blamed on us. Should we walk away because the current regime aren’t fit for purpose? Should we boo players because we don’t like their politics? Should we insist that only staunch and true players can play for the Glens or indeed Rangers? I have two teams, the Glens and Rangers. I hope both will be there long after boardroom regimes come and go. Finally as a proud East Belfast man I say, may her majesty know God’s comfort as she mourns her husband. She is loved in the East and we remember her.few glens fans in our Rangers club .wonder what they think .
i know they were far from happy with them signing the convicted peado and the presence of a bog side republican in the team .
they,as a club have lost their morals .can't see too many off their fan base being happy atm .
coleraine play them back to back this week tues and fri .2 severe thumpings required
It isn’t difficult to understand what he meantWhere has he mentioned the fans? The club flew flags at half mast as well as respecting the silence, nothing in his post mentions the fans. The post only refers to the club
