I thought it was his lower back and he’s had lower back problems. Fkin shocking challenge. Don’t know why “the manager wasn’t impressed” according to some.
Stevie G did not sound impressed when asked about him at the press conference..
Genuinely dispair at some of our fans at times. I suppose because halliday would have battled through he should be first choice
I was thinking kidney damage the way he was wincingWasn't his ribs. Was his lower back. Maybe his kidneys.
If I was a professional footballer - probably see it as part of the game.To all the posters saying he doesn't like the "rough and tumble" how would you feel if you got booted in the ribs at your work?
The follow through was what did the damage. Players knee into the kidneysCertainly looked like a sore one
It was a real sore one he took, the guy nearly halfed him in two, he got caught right in the kidneysit happened in front of me and I said at the time he wouldn't be able to play on, just hope he's not out long.I love the guy but is it the case that he can’t take the rough stuff as much as others.
VAR only looks at it if it's a red card offence. I don't think it was a Red. Braga player was rightly booked and it looked like he caught barisic in the ribs or backWhat's the point in VAR if the referee isn't looking at that. Should have been a red. Think Borna could have played on though
Rotten comment. It was a shocking challenge to an area of the body that a football should not be getting hit. Absolute joke that some of our so called fans are actually criticising him for that. Not the bravest or hardiest, that's for sure.
Poor comments. Almost looked winded or a seizure. He’s toughened up significantly this season, hasn’t missed many games at all.
To all the posters saying he doesn't like the "rough and tumble" how would you feel if you got booted in the ribs at your work?
big jessie
Just very dismissive when asked. Why? What did Gerrard say?
Is this one of those spot the ball games?Certainly looked like a sore one
Some of the half wits on here really do amaze me, they can’t help themselves.Let’s just assume he shat it and was actually fine, that way we can all lay into him again, that sounds like fun.
Called it right again.Just sayingBruised kidney by looks of it. Horrid tackle. Looked in severe pain and very uncomfortable.
He took a boot to the kidneys. Believe me its very fucking soreNot the bravest or hardiest, that's for sure.
Yeah, just the kidney damage. Get up and get on with it.Not the bravest or hardiest, that's for sure.
Have you seen the picture above? Clearly studs right into the kidney area.Happened right infront of me. Was a sore one but didn't look anywhere near his kidneys, looked like he took it on the thigh thought it was a dead leg at the time.
I took a knee in the kidneys a few years back playing football and the pain was level 10, had convinced myself that something was going to burst inside of me at the time. Ended up in the old Southern that night and they says was only bruising. Thought I had done some permanent damage.
There's no chance he will make St J away and very unlikely to make Braga now.
