I am proud

Adversity. We overacme it almost. In an evening that promised so much, we still overcame. This team, our team has never been beaten, not really. So we drew, so what what. Our team, your team, still came back and still held our anchor. Walter, our Walter would have still been proud. Not what we wanted , but still fight.

We overcame nothing

We dropped points at home again

Sorry just cannot agree.

Against a poor Sheep side we gifted 2 goals in 15 minutes and then laboured beyond belief to rescue a point. On this day of all days the players should have been busting a gut to put on a performance, not simply go through the motions as the majority did.

The Rangers team let the Rangers support down tonight as we expected a performance that honoured the Gaffer. We got a damp squib instead.

If we'd won it would have been an achievement, but a draw is not good enough.

A rank rotten Aberdeen would have won if they went after us. As usual these teams slow it down, waste time, and let us back into it.

Not happy at all.

Walter would’ve torn that team to shreds.

Sorry, but too slow, too predictable, terrible passing and no fire in the belly. Keep playing like this and Celtc will run over the top of us.

Sorry OP but this isn't one of those nights

Truth is, tonight was the same players with the same mistakes and the same predictable boring tactics with the now not-uncommon result...more home points dropped.

We can go unbeaten this season and if we keep doing what we did tonight, we'll throw this league away

Walter would’ve had Tav and Goldson subbed and dropped for a nightmare pass at the edge of your own box and getting bullied by a 36 year old for a free header.
Tav wouldn’t be starting just now under Walter as I’ve earlier wrote.

As much as I appreciate the op's sentiment.

A well intentioned OP but massively wide of the mark.
Tonight was a massive let down

Lots of emotions on a night like this, coming on the back of the tragic loss of Walter Smith. We need to separate the emotion from our view of the football. Dropping points at home to a struggling Aberdeen side is not the mark of league champions. It's not acceptable. It may happen from time to time but dropping points should never be accepted. It should never be written off. Absolutely no Rangers fan should be accepting 2nd best, even if we may not always achieve the best. We need to have that ruthless winners mentality that sadly seems lacking right now.

Having to rescue a point at home to Aberdeen should NEVER be acceptable to fans.

Nah OP.

If Walter was in charge you can guarantee that would not have been the performance. Your sentiment is good but you need to take off the blue tinted glasses and realise the team are nowhere near where we need them to be.

It’s as if last season’s triumph was enough for them and they are happy with their lot, and if that’s the case then they really are in for a rude awakening.

Not one player is performing at their best, not one 90mins performance have we played and we are days away from November. All through the team there is a lack of fight, urgency and desire and it’s simply not good enough.

Things need to change now or we are in for a far more difficult season than it needed to be.

Well that's certainly not a view anyone else will have.

Mate, Walter would have been raging. We are in a battle royale with that mob and we'd better waken up to it.

This is attention seeking bullshit.

We overcame nothing.

Walter would have been disgusted at what Gerrard and his players produced tonight.

Draw at home with a shite Aberdeen and you get this? What? Get a grip mate.

This is a night for the torn faced bastards of FF, mate.
An ill advised thread that was bound to be pounced upon.
They are in their whinging element tonight.

You'd think we were fighting a relegation battle instead of topping the table.

I'm oot.
