I assume griffiths dive has been airbrushed ?

What this shows is that the narrative the earl haigs created way back with the refs strike is that a ref like Madden has to demonstrate that he is not anti-kaffkick/anti irish by being seen to be ’fair’, i.e. to ensure there can be no disputes about his decisions post game. If that had been say, Lafferty at Killie on the end of a slight brush, it wouldn’t have been given. In any event, it wasn’t even a foul by Goldson - he clearly got the ball. Yet another example of the pressure the earl haigs place on some refs.

It was very soft, if it had been outside the box it would be given, Griffiths was brushed but did dive, definitely down to the individual referee to decide on the day.

Yet according to Ally, great refereeing because he played advantage.
Ally does my head in as a commentator.
If he blows though its not a goal , and ally asked after the the goal 'did he book welsh'? And the reply was no, ally was expecting a booking and said so.

Post game, BBC Gordon wanted to know why JA wasn't sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity.
