Hartson is an absolute idiot... he just said Switzerland would have to win 5 nil to beat Wales to 2nd place if Wales only draw.... he obviously forgot that a draw gets Wales another point

Yeah it does.

Means that’s one 3rd placed team in a decent position on 4 points, just means Scotland need to win by a couple to be better placed than them.

Still another 4 groups in the balance though, wouldn’t worry yet.

We only need two of the 6 groups to have less than 4 points, which seems highly likely.

It would just have been nice if it were a draw or Turkey win here as that would have taken this group out of the reckoning
 
Shaqiri falls into the category of player who does nothing of note yet scores the odd screamer or does a trick and makes everyone think he's good for a while again

4 teams would need to better us though. I’m not so sure it’s the mortal blow it’s being made out to be...yet

There's still 4 other groups and we need 2 of them to go our way. I actually thought this was one of the more likely results to happen for us.

Could argue that getting 2/4 is more of a 50/50 chance than something that's extra likely.
 
Refs have definitely been told not to book players, some very weird decisions in that regard :))

to develop the theme further, if Switzerland are going to beat Turkey by a couple, then we’re better off with Italy winning by a few here and putting Wales on a negative goal difference
