Exactly.There's a bit of desperation about Celtic and their precious nine now.
I can understand their fear that the SPFL are having to play a long game now given UEFA and FIFA statements. The long game will still mean that monies will somehow have to be paid out to clubs as the weeks roll by meaning Celtic will lose the leverage (blackmail) that declaring them Champions is a pre-requisite for releasing monies. What are they then left with? - "Declare us Champions because we want to be Champions". Once monies are distributed there will be no obstacle to 'Null & Void' further down the line if we can't resume.
It absolutely reeks of desperation from the press, and certainly the green and grey PR disaster machine.
it also does seem to be the case the Celtic want to be declared champions, just because. Not on sporting merit, not yet anyway, not in a fair way.
You can see the wheels turning in the minds of these apologist fools, every story you read is either “give celtic the title” or it’s a story of rangers attempting to “sabotage” the whole thing.
that’s the pishy press machine in this country in a nutshell, morally and professionally inept
