Exactly.
It absolutely reeks of desperation from the press, and certainly the green and grey PR disaster machine.
it also does seem to be the case the Celtic want to be declared champions, just because. Not on sporting merit, not yet anyway, not in a fair way.
You can see the wheels turning in the minds of these apologist fools, every story you read is either “give celtic the title” or it’s a story of rangers attempting to “sabotage” the whole thing.
that’s the pishy press machine in this country in a nutshell, morally and professionally inept
 
He basically ignores Rangers saying that the work will only take 4 weeks to complete, and that several English clubs have taken the same opportunity to repair their pitches.

Indeed. We keep hearing how prize money cannot be paid out until a decision is made on champions/relegation. The only thing to conclude from that is that the money is sitting there waiting to be paid out. Yet they plead poverty. Why? If they have the money there's a number of ways to do it, ranging from splitting the prize money equally within each division to paying every club the minimum possible figures that are guaranteed - like paying the bottom 4 the amount the team finishing bottom gets. Paying the top 2 the amount you get for finishing second. Paying Motherwell and Aberdeen the amount you get for finishing 4th - and so on. All they've paid out so far has been a pittance.

As you suggest, its a smokescreen.

Such a snide horrible article, but entirely what we'd expect from a guy who takes pride in being racist.

It stuck out to me though, that he names the company involved in carrying out the work and directs people to their website.

That is just downright sinister.
 
Don’t forget this is the guy that admitted he wrote blatant lies bumming up Whyte because his boss told him to, it would seem from his constant, daily shite stirring nonsense about the club he’s still writing what his Rangers hating bosses are telling him, clearly this guy will write anything in order to keep his job.
 
Pathetic, the first thing the club would have done is get an agreement with the authorities before proceeding.

That article sums up the shocking state of Scottish journalism. Grammatical errors and jumping all over the place, back and forward between the Ibrox pitch and the SPFL meeting.

I would like to think he was pished when he wrote it, as at least he would have an excuse, but probably not.
 
Thought it was just maintenance on the existing park? Just walked past the gates and looks like completely new park going down which is good news. Sorry if already discussed.
