Kevin Thomson described him as the jewel in the academy crow
Well I've never seen a slayer of bheasts with quite so curly hair. After a year of first team strength and conditioning I think he will be a mighty king...

Seriously though this is a very positive step. Ive got high hopes for this kid. Hes been a stand out since he was 14
Yeah mate, as mentioned in this thread I was at a night with Kevin Thomson and he said this boy is the star of the academy.Centre half ?
No but he would be eligible to play as he will be on the B-list. We train in Scotland the day before the game if that’s what made you ask the question. Is he part of the European squad?
It was mate seen the players on sky sports news said squad training at Ibrox before flying out. That’s why I wondered if he had been addded to the squad.Cheers for the info. I remember seeing Craig Moore and Steven Presley play for the youth team at Firhill one night thinking they will be the centre half’s for theI've got high hopes that the Rangers Centre halves of the future will be Mayo and King .... what a shot in the arm to the Academy that would be

So close- a problem free.....philosophyLetting guys like Leon King train with the first team is a trouble free philosophy
He will be close to the first team along with Charlie Lindsay this season. Not a chance.
Yep. Everything about him coming out the academy is absolutely glowing.Won’t be long until Charlie Lindsay starts to train with first team I reckon.

Agree to an extent, but with the 9 subs this season it makes it a lot easier to include them in the matchday squad. This coming Sunday for example. But they certainly will be training with the first team squadDon't see it this season because of what's on demand. Definitely see it next season though.
Walter Smith always said a player should be in the match day squad on merit, not as a box ticking exercise.Agree to an extent, but with the 9 subs this season it makes it a lot easier to include them in the matchday squad. Still wild that with the 9 sub rule that the SPFL didn't impose a caveat that players under a certain age/academy players had to make up at least 2 of the subs. Shows how committed to development they are when they are increasing the number of loans teams are allowed instead!

I think I’d rather cash in Katic. Good siege defender but doesn’t offer much more than that. We’d have likely got around £4m thi summer, so would make sense to loan him out next season. If we don’t cash in on one of our main cb’s and Katic comes back at 100%, it may be time to move Edmundson on and move one of Mayo or King up a level.
He’s got brains at least then.He already knocked back Man City as far as I know.
He Mufasa good a chance as any.Not a chance.
His cousin sits next to me in main stand ive never seen the boy play thoKevin Thomson described him as the jewel in the academy crown
