Massive summer ahead, but major overhaul is not needed

Most clubs in Europe see quite a lot of movement in the summer window. It's just a new reality of modern football that players don't stay at one club for longer.

If you factor in loans and upgrades, I think we're easily still 7-8 bodies short for next season. It has to be a good combination of high quality and giving us more options.

Foderingham and Alnwick go and we need a keeper.

McAuley and Worrall - 2 CB's required.

Wallace, Davis, Kent, Coulibaly, is there any point in Rossiter and Docherty hanging about - both players don't take us to the next level and we have players ahead of them.

Morelos goes and we need a couple of strikers.

We have one right sided attacker, Candeias.

Some of the younger lads need to go out on loan.

Absolutely no goals or creativity from midfield.

Dorrans, Murphy, Grezda have all had injuries this season and we don't know how they return?

In midfield it's much of a muchness in terms of a lack of real quality.

It all adds up. Other than Tavernier and Morelos, we don't really have players that clubs are likely to come in for.
