I wish they would pressure wash the whole stadium exterior. It's such a simple job that would cost relative pennies. When are they finally going to pressure wash the dirt off the bit above the sign?
Ah hence the cherry picker ,thought it just went up today.Been up a few days
The banner nearest the ticket office had actually came a bit loose with the wind a few days ago

Absolute nonsense, it’d would cost a fair whack given the size of the overall area.A pressure washer couldn’t save that. It needs serious investment. Whole stand is a bit of an eyesore from the outside.
I know folk love the redbrick but when it’s not maintained it ends up looking terrible. At least the other 3 stands type of red bricking The cladding is very out dated too. Could clad it similar to EH and change that every five years for buttons. Keep the Main Stand untouched.

Correct. The footprint around the stadium needs done badly. Not only does the old concrete look horrible, but it's so uneven that it can be dangerous underfoot, particularly at night time. The stadium itself would have years knocked off it if the actual footprint was completely revamped.
It’s god awful. Cost a lot though
Won’t ever happen in our lifetime especially the SJ given the outlay on Blue Sky.It's looking really dated isn't it. If money was no object you'd completely rebuild the other 3 stands with a glass exterior or something.
I think the signs themselves could look good. But because they're so clean and sharp they highlight how dirty other parts of the stand look. These signs look really cheap and tacky around the stadium, up there with the club deck stair banners.
They won't do it now. If they did, the manky water would run down onto the new signage. When are they finally going to pressure wash the dirt off the bit above the sign?

The only way you could tart it up is probably facings over the brickwork etc (not on main stand)
But it’d look so much better with better footprint around it the paths really bring it down in parts
Would look good well better than it does.I actually think that would be the way forward - seen it done with a lot of buildings (cladding) and when done well it can be really good. Move it away from looking like an office block.
As people mention, there's so much internally/externally that needs done there should be a really clear plan for improvements for the next decade (I'm sure there is but not sure how high up the list this would be...more likely it wouldn't make the list)
Not sure if I like these banners or not, LED screens would be more up to dateThe stadium itself would have years knocked off it if the actual footprint was completely revamped.

Surely you'd spray that also when up there lol. They won't do it now. If they did, the manky water would run down onto the new signage.
Cladding and lighting to keep the character but bring it up to date, the stadiums too good for it to look shabby. Drove past couple of weeks back, we have the blue sky lounge but a few floors down we still have dirty verticals and boxes shoved against windows. The three stands should be recladded and all the empty office space used for hospitality light areas.
Post a photoshop so we can see what we could have won, you never know it might be the new “ megabrox” imageGet the three stands cladded in the light grey colour wrapped around them. Fill the two spaces on Copland and Broomloan stands with LED advertising boards rather than the horrendous signage as it’s been done recently. Modernise the place a wee bit except from the main stand.
Id definitely do the LED boards in the gaps on both stands, that would make a start on the modernising.
Doubt they could remove the staining from decades of grime and pollution. When are they finally going to pressure wash the dirt off the bit above the sign?
The Mafeking Street exit on to Copland Road is very badly lit, it definitely needs improved.Correct. The footprint around the stadium needs done badly. Not only does the old concrete look horrible, but it's so uneven that it can be dangerous underfoot, particularly at night time.
It would have made more sense to do the cleaning and then put the new signs up.Surely you'd spray that also when up there lol.
Cost pennies ? It costs about you £60 min to get somebody to come out and look at something for a quote.I wish they would pressure wash the whole stadium exterior. It's such a simple job that would cost relative pennies.

I said relative pennies. Say it costs 20k - that's not even a week's wages for a number of our players.Cost pennies ? It costs about you £60 min to get somebody to come out and look at something for a quote.
Unless Donald Park gonna get the overalls back on with a jet wash and Andy Smillie supplies the scaffolding for nothing.
Canny see that
