That’s what I was thinking earlier. They know how little it means. They have just won an unprecedented double treble with nobody coming close and it’s all forgot about after a couple of duff results.

Genuinely not sure if i’d want any of their players. Boyata would only get on our bench (until we get another CB), Dembele’s a crock, Tierney would be a waste of money for an inferior back up. Ntachm (or however you spell it) is the only one they’ll be looking to sell who might make our team.

Ntcham probably their best chance to make 5 mill +.

Dembele is a decent striker with the hamstrings of an 80 y/o.

I’ve never understood myself why he never plays 90 minutes. He always seems the most dangerous whenever I’ve watched him
 
I don't understand any of the nicknames for their players on here but I think their board are savvy enough to know that the fans want blood. They'll be working overtimes in PR to make it look like anyone going out is good business and they'll certainly be bringing some in now. The good news is that it will be rushed signings at inflated prices. :D

Got fed up after 6 pages but general feeling was expectation and resignation. CEO getting it large but so is Brenda.
I remember a Liverpool Echo article setting out that his transfer record at Liverpool was awful. Maybe 1 in 3 getting pass marks.
Board gave him £9m ish for Edouard. With Griffiths and Dembele on board who spends £9m on another striker while the defence is shocking. Katic and Gouldson cost about half of that.
2 Brenda signings starting is telling.
His buys, Bain, Hendry, Hayes, Morgan, Christie, Allan - all squad players at best and minimum £60k a week in wages
How much money would you give him based on this track record.

The only place that would sign their players for decent money closed their transfer window last week.

They're likely gonna be stuck with a load of players on big wages desperate to leave to a team that can offer them champions league football as it's probably the main reason they joined.

Last season there turn over was 90 million and they got 30 million in champions league money and there wage is 52 million. 60 million turn over with 52 million in wages is too a high a ratio of wages to turnover.Wages will have to be trimmed by sales or the 30 million nest egg raided



Armstrong sold for 7 million and 5 million in Europa league money helps a little bit and they made a profit of six million last season but still leaves 12 million hole to break even. Will be very very hard for the bheasts to break even this season .If they spend money on top of that for a new defence..they'll be posting a decent loss. Selling players/raiding the piggy bag or tightening the belts they'll have to take a bullet some way
 
Dougie Wright tweeted that Dortmund were sniffing about Dembele for £12million.

Boyata’s strike has taken a massive chunk off any fee they could expect for him.

Every one of them have been put on large contracts and only the big money sides have cash.

They'll no splash out exorbitant amounts of money on the soapdodgers squad.
