I do sincerely hope that Rangers do go on the attack and take some proper action against Nil By Mouth. However, anyone else can raise a concern as well. Nil By Mouth has made it very clear they will only investigate sectarian issues one way but for them to go out their way to attack Rangers for absolutely nothing is bang out of order and an abuse of position. To be discussing possible criminal cases is not their place either as they will be possibly influencing a decision or opinion.

No other club in Great Britain would tolerate this. Absolutely none. If Rangers do not take them to task its nothing short of a disgrace.
It seems to be one of the few growing industries in the country, who ultimately contribute zero to society, quite the opposite in fact.
In the week where we see some 25 court cases (and rising) regarding historical child abuse, rape and molestation, we also see a former celtic employee back in court with regards to historical child abuse, rape and molestation, Nil by mouth, Jeanette Findlay, Michael Stewart and some non entity reporter at BBC Scotland choose to be offended by a song written, played, sung and performed since 2012, taken from a song originally written in 1966?
1966 was also the year that the convicted celtic employed pedophile Jim Torbett formed celtic boys club with the intended purpose of forming a vile pedophile ring to groom boys to abuse.
Yet a song with no offensive, sectarian or racist lyrics is a problem?, so if the lyrics are not a problem then it's the melody?, a melody that's been widely used since 1966, the four lads song has been widely sung and played since 2012....

Me and another poster have been down the road with them about banners at the piggery. Same thing, wants your details etc then palms you off. It’s clearly low level intimidation to insist on personal details before they’ll reply.

He has people lurking on here for him, either as genuine members or anonymous searchers but they look in and feed back to him with what’s going on. He looks in himself.
He will never condemn anything that’s being asked of him, in terms of genuine evidence about clear and obvious bigotry and hatred from within the confines of the stands at Parkhead, but he will only ever respond, he says, when the media ask him to.
What’s the fucking point of that? That’s not going to stop the sectarianism, is it? Of course it won’t because it takes away the imaginary one-sided element to it that the media have created.

What we need to understand about NBM is that they have no interest in working to eliminate sectarianism. They need sectarianism in order to keep their funding, keep their jobs and keep their salaries. That is why they only exist to criticise and complain. What they never do is to engage constructively with the people they are criticising.
The second thing to understand is that they are largely funded by the Scottish Govt. and their one sided approach reflects the political prejudices & tribal loyalties of the SNP which involves the demonisation of all expressions of unionism. NBM know that they have to toe the SNP line or risk losing their funding.
In many respects, NBM are irrelevant. Those outside the Celtic minded bubble can see the absurdity of complaining about a tune if, indeed, it registered at all. There is no upside to Rangers in dealing with them or in publicly breaking all contact with them. They are best ignored.
The long term solution resides in the ballot box. Until Scotland gets rid of the SNP - and the preceding Scottish Labour Govt. was no better - and votes in a government that isn't beholden to a certain constituency, we will just have to put up with their bigotry.

Sectarianism, similar to nationalism, is making certain individuals a lot of money in this country. Whilst there are still issues, the level of progress in the last 20 years is incredible. It’ll gradually phase out as generations progress but some people need to create a bigger issue than is present to fill their grubby pockets whilst there is still an ounce of relevance left.
You would also have to be pretty naive to not believe that some of the outrage is manufactured and pre-meditated by a small band of individuals. They have a common ground, a hatred for unionism, who on earth has a machine that could bring such views together and co-ordinate attacks on a specific group of society…..?
