1875 - Rangers 1 (Moses McNeil) Third Lanark RV 2 - Scottish Cup 2nd Round Replay (2,000)
This match was the SFA-ordered replay of a game Rangers had won 1-0 but which had been declared void as Rangers had kicked off in both halves. The replay was equally contentious, for after the game Rangers complained to the SFA on three counts;that Third Lanark's goalkeeper had played in ordinary street clothes and therefore had been indistinguishable from the crowd gathered behind the goal, that Third Lanark's first goal should have been disallowed as it was a hand ball, and lastly because the crowd had spilled on to the pitch and forced the game to be abandoned some seven minutes early. The appeal fell on deaf ears, thereby allowing Third Lanark to progress on towards the final, where they were finally beaten by Queen's Park after a replay.

1920 - Clydebank 2 Rangers 4 (Henderson 4) - Scottish League Division One (22,000)

Having been given his first start of the season under new Manager Bill Struth, the previous week, where Geordie Henderson had repaid his Manager's faith by scoring 4 Goals in a 5-0 win v Dundee at Ibrox,
the big man followed it up by scoring all 4 Goals in this win at Clydebank.

Rangers would go on to win the Title that season with a record number of points (losing only 1 of 42 League Games), and somehow managed to lose in the Scottish Cup Final to Partick Thistle.

Andy Cunningham would finish the season as top scorer with 27 goals from 46 Games,
with Henderson scoring 23 Goals in 29 Games.

The next 4 seasons (1921-25) saw Geordie Henderson top the scoring charts for Rangers.
His goal tally over those five seasons was 137 Goals in 182 Games!
Henderson would collect League Championship Winners medals in 4 of those 5 seasons.
Despite this, Geordie Henderson was never selected for his country.

Did Richard Gough score for Dundee Utd in 1982?

A shot, not a header?
