Last season alone, that "mediocre" Rangers team won more European games in the group stages/knockout rounds (SIX wins) than any of the last 5 Celtic Managers won in their entire tenure:

  • Lennon - 5 wins (2 seasons)
  • Rodgers - 5 wins (3 seasons)
  • Delia - 2 wins (2 seasons)
  • Lennon - 5 wins (4 seasons)
  • Mowbray - 1 win (1 season)

And while we are on the subject of mediocre Peter, please indicate where "PLZ Soccer" fits in with national television, local television, radio, national press, local press, The Athletic and official fan media in terms of prestige?

I might care more about this if it was somebody who actually knew anything about football

his team since 2012 have been mediocre, winning a league without any competition and when a proper one appears, it all falls apart like a deck of cards

The yahoos like to spin the narrative that the board at nonce park has not backed any of the Celtic managers over the last few years, which is utter nonsense.

The figures they put out at the AGM and the money flange has already spent takes them to just under £50,000,000 in transfer fees over the last 3 seasons. Not to mention they still have the biggest wage bill in Scottish football at the minute.

Gerrard's European record shows that when we face according to rankings inferior opposition we win. Comfortably. Against mid ranking/equal opposition we win/draw most of the time. We also have recorded some notable victories against sides ranked higher than us. I can't think of a single defeat that could be recorded as a shock. A blind man can see this unless you're Peter ''Martin''.

Confirmation if any were needed that twats like him still haven't absorbed the fact that actually, their team were shite all along.

It never needed millions to overcome them as countless European minnows have proven for God knows how many years. Only unbiased referees and a little self belief was required.

Martin made a pitiful attempt to try and justify his mediocre remarks. According to him only Steven Davis would have a shout for getting in a previous Rangers title winning team, and that's because he's been in one. McGregor who has also won titles didn't warrant a mention.

Roughie then said none of our players would be good enough to play in the EPL. Martin says maybe one or two would. Macdonald then suggests McGregor would be good enough, Martin dives in to say aye back when he was at his peak, suggesting not now. Kent eventually gets a mention, he'd be good enough to play for a bottom half team according to fatso.
