But we were told by the kerrydale shark tossers that "all our grandchildren will be celtic fans" as the beano used to say "chortle"Any youngster's watching Rangers from a neutral perspective this season will be Rangers supporters next season.
Breathtaking legends one and all.
Alfredo and Jelavic over Prso.Alfredo over prso? Not a chance! Agree with other suggestions except for aribo... he is not the best rm we have had in the last 20 years

Is that right aye? Tell that to the wee man in the second picture! :shh:
I was a bit surprised at Mols also, I guess it was what might have been, no injury then he’s one of the best you ever watch in a Rangers jersey.Joe Aribo best right mid of the last 20 years and Mols over Boyd and Morelos
Is this decided on skill or actual performances?
That was superb!

Our most important, momentous, unbeaten, best defensive record, centurion points, 25 point gap, tainted ten stopping season?I imagine recency bias will come heavily into play so soon after 55
Right back should have been Tav for me.
And I slated the guy plenty in the past. But you can’t argue with his stats.
Prso over Alfredo? Surely not man. Did Prso even score 30 goals for us in a similar time frame?Alfredo over prso? Not a chance! Agree with other suggestions except for aribo... he is not the best rm we have had in the last 20 years
Ricksen over Tav is just not right at all.
I know what you’re saying but they 92/93 team would be blowing out their arse after 70 mins playing the current teamThe 92/93 team beats our current team 9 times out of ten

since 2000
Much like the greatest ever 11 vote so soon after 9IARI imagine recency bias will come heavily into play so soon after 55

I’m guessing 2000Just so I know, what year did the "modern era" start?
Unfortunately we only saw Mols at his peak for a short time but his performances in those games were of the highest level. If longevity is not a factor in selecting this team then he is our best forward of the modern era all day long.Genuinely shocked that there are objections to Mols.
Injury or not, his pre-injury form was quite simply breathtaking. He is without doubt one of the few players we have had in the modern era who was genuinely world class. Opposition teams at times had to triple up on him to contain him, and even that was barely enough. Sure Boyd had his finishing, but he barely brought anything but goals to the table. In terms of breaking teams down he was virtually a passenger. Morelos is a much stronger argument for what he overall provides to the team, but put it this was, if we sold morelos tomorrow and our replacement was a pre-injury mols equivalent, that's an upgrade and none of us would be missing fredo!
Mols was a player who played football the way you want to see it played. An unpredictable, intelligent and skillful striker who only didn't become a household name in Europe because he was kept out of the national team by Bergkamp and Kluivert.
So what was he better at?As good as Tav has been, I’d shoehorn Reyna into right back. Way ahead of Tav as a footballer, but obviously not on goals, assists.
It’s my team and I’m having Reyna. He’s not a right back, but I have to fit him in.So what was he better at?
Reyna was a superb midfielder, not a great RB.

You have to compare each team to how they were relative to other teams of the period rather than to a different age of sports science and nutrition etc.I don't believe they would. I love that team but I think they would struggle to keep up with last year's team.
We did not have the pace or touch we have now.
Mols without the injury could have been one of our best ever. But taken to the extreme though, if longevity is not a factor then you would have to argue that Marco Negri perhaps showed the best form for a few months of any striker in our history but almost no one would have him in these best conversations (for good reason). So I don’t see how Mols, looking over his whole career with us, gets in this team.Unfortunately we only saw Mols at his peak for a short time but his performances in those games were of the highest level. If longevity is not a factor in selecting this team then he is our best forward of the modern era all day long.
