I assume they play on (and if the pen is being given), until the ball goes out of play and then make a decision from there

A/ Nothing happens and we get a pen
B/ They score, it gets written off and we get a pen
C/ We score and it counts as advantage

Why is it that every team we play, when we take a pop at goal their last man is putting everything on the line and gets brilliant block/deflection on a great shot on goal?

It seems to be the defenders equivalent of a fingertip save against us every single game.

You happen to see the very same defender in their next game and they look like a traffic cone as some jobber sclafs one past them as the keeper stands rooted to the spot and the goal trickles past them.
