Referees are costing us games

It would be lovely to have a team on the park that’s just too good more often than not for refereeing decisions to matter to us but clearly we are still quite short of being at that level but to all the bears who said after the spoon burners game we should have scored 5 or 6 and the referee’s decisions wouldn have mattered, Well think on this....Steven Gerrard is talking to a potential new signing and tells him “ Basically you will play 38 league games which feel like cup finals to the opposition oh and we are going to have to win most of the matches by 3 goals or more to be guaranteed the 3 points” Utter nonsense! The filth’s mhedia poodles have worked a treat and we are getting shafted repeatedly.
 
Another beyond belief performance. Once again, I’m not convinced we were good enough to justify using it as an excuse, but it’s ultimately a separate issue.

Difficult to play football when the opposition know they can boot the %^*& out of you without repercussion.
 
Another job well done by the sfa's finest. Our performance 1st half was below par but overall again its crucial calls not being made by the ref
 
We’re exactly where we deserve to be. Comfortably ahead of 3rd place and a bit behind Celtic.

If people want to salve their feelings at being 2nd best by continually scapegoating refs then that’s their prerogative. The harsh truth is performances from a squad which isn’t anywhere near consistent enough is costing us.
 
As bad as the refs are, we've had enough chances in each game to be out of sight
 
Today was an absolute disgrace, I wouldn't wish harm on anyone but that fucking wank can trip over his own feet and fall infront of a train or bus, even a jumbo jet so we don't have to tolerate his dirty cheating ever again.

Yeah, not giving Rangers clear cut penalties or booking opposition players is totally fine because we're not good enough to win games without the rules being applied fairly.
 
Honestly getting fed up with the threads about referees

Are they putting the ball in the net against us or are stopping our strikers putting the ball in the opposition net ...NO

It's all to do with having inadequate players since 2012 Until that is remedied we will continue to play second fiddle to the dhims unfortunately

Not sure anybody is offering the poor performance of the referee as an excuse but the referee’s performance was, again, beyond funny.
 
No way is the refs performance an excuse in us not winning today. However he was shocking. The last two years in particular their performances and been incredibly bad. This is no coincidence. Don't expect and better next season.
 
No idea who he was today but what a lazy bastard that was. The tackle on Kent?? with about ten mins to go was as bad a tackle as I have seen in years yet only merits a yellow - similarly how the feck Goldson got away with a yellow beggars belief.

Not once in that entire game did he look to hurry up their players wasting time. I timed their keeper with ball in his hands for 15 seconds every time he got the ball.
 
I was in the "should be good enough to beat these teams regardless" camp, or as they say in the UFC "never leave it in the hands of the judges" , however, given the sheer incompetence (aka cheating) from the current band of refs in our league, the OP has a point.

The margins between 3 points 1 point or fck all are so tight now in our games, the decisions against us have become a factor.

As a fan base, we now expect so many decisions to go against us, however, nobody seems to have mentioned the effect this may be having on our players.

This is actually quite evident now in Alfies responses to the ridiculous decisions going against him, top the point, that rather than mouth off as much as he used to, he shrugs and looks toward the bench as if he will get some kind of support.

I hate sounding like one of those moon howlers, but it is now so obvious that the Club as a whole have to start highlighting the blatant "incompetence" we endure on a weekly basis, and stop this dignified silence nonsense.

As loathesome as the actions of the rhabids were previously in greeting about everything that went against them, it is quite obvious it is now paying dividends for them.

We are actually at a point now where Morelos would need to have a limb removed or be admitted to Intensive care to get a decision in his favour, but saying that he would probably still get a card for something while on a a stretcher.
