As soon as Ridvan is back, Sterling goes in beside Dio.
They were talking 2 Lundstram according 2 clement but think he wanted more than we prepared 2 payOnly on viewing, it looks like more than 2 have been told to look elsewhere
Yeah, buyers will be found. However, will they offer a price you are prepared to accept? Would we have sold Lundstram for £50k last Summer or has it benefitted us more to retain him? Would we have accepted £1m for Morelos or did we think retaining him for that final season potentially offered us better? Its really a symptom of previous poor management at the club.
No player ever should be allowed to run down their contract at Rangers. Put them up for sale in the final year and move them out. Players agents will happily oblige such a scenario before anyone says it’s not that simple as buyers need to be found. Buyers will be found.
Poorly worded mate. I more meant what their application would likely be for us until the end of the season.Doesn't matter with Jack and Roofe, out of contract. After the season finished they can go. Why fret about whether they get another club? Its not our job to find them another club.
That's nonsense and it really isn't that simple to move some players on.Its really a symptom of previous poor management at the club.

Trouble is, neither Ridvan or indeed Sterling, have shown they are capable of staying fit for any prolonged period of timeAs soon as Ridvan is back, Sterling goes in beside Dio.
Bottle merchant against the tims for a start, 6 years 2.2 million cost and no doubt at least a million a year on salary, lets say he cost £10 million all in with the fee / wages. At his best, he was brilliant.
Played his part in some fantastic games as a Rangers player. Very reactionary to say he hasn’t served us well.
Wish we had a thumbs down for this type of baws.Good riddance to the pair of them. Delighted they are moving on, personally. We need better next season.
Correct, some mentally challenged like behaviour on here at times. Some folk give you the impression they f*cking hate Rangers.
Maybe check out post#15 as the proper way to do it.
They can't officially sign until their contracts are up so if either tore ligaments etc, I doubt the clubs would take up the offer.Maybe a good thing? If they have their futures secured, they have a club to go to regardless of injury?
The likes of Jack, Roofe etc I would be more concerned about because if they are injured they will be less likely to attract a club for the new season
Was mad and negilgent not to take the money for Morelos - not once was he good the whole season. When will people learn that the players and their agents hold all the cards now and have done for a very long time.
Rangers can't win. If we'd sold Morelos for the 16 million when we had the chance, but that kind of money was being seen as an insult. Move on a couple of seasons and it's Rangers who carry the can for losing him for free.
Never a day goes by without a dig at the club on here, certain posters will find anything to have a go. Your meant to be supporters, at least try and show it sometime.
And I don't understand why, he's been brutal.as soon as Ridvan is back, Borna is out anyway
Lundstram appears to be undroppable
Yes.Do you apply the same criteria to those playing for other clubs who sign pre-contracts with Rangers? Should Souttar, for example, never have kicked a ball again for Hearts after signing a pre-contract with us? 4 months kicking his heels before joining us for pre-season.
I suspect that many times we simply don't know that pre-contracts have been signed as the two clubs chose to keep it quiet - if they can. As we probably saw with Ryan Jack when we signed him.
Its simply a part of football life these days. Up to Managers to assess what they think the player will deliver. All will be different.
If he'd went the club would have got hell from plenty, for letting him go on the cheap. Was mad and negilgent not to take the money for Morelos - not once was he good the whole season.
Madness. So every player that chooses to exercise his right to see out his contract, and then signs a pre-contract elsewhere, is put in cold storage? You’d probably go the whole hog and simply refuse to play anyone in the last year of their contract, wouldn’t you? With that sort of contract management no c*unt would ever sign for your Club.Yes.
It’s easy saying that with the benefit of hindsight, but at the time the vast majority were in agreement that the board were right to hold out for the money we were asking for.Was mad and negilgent not to take the money for Morelos - not once was he good the whole season.
Rangers v Osijek. Headband on .When has Barisic every really bust a guy?
Don’t think it really changes much with regards to him.
He’s only being used when we are really low on options.
When Ridvan is back Sterling can fill Lundstram's berthas soon as Ridvan is back, Borna is out anyway
Lundstram appears to be undroppable
Not even about busting a gut.Where does this leave Clement with the 2 players for the rest of the season? We can't guarentee they will burst a gut in the games that remain.
They both done fine against St MirrenPretty sure it was as good as confirmed when we played St Mirren and both started.
We don't have the luxury of dropping them, and for his other faults, I don't think commitment to the job is something I'd worry about with Lundstram.
It’s quite clearly a financial decision, it can’t be anything else I wouldn’t think. Why do we think Lundstram isn't signing a new deal, the manager certainly seemed like he wanted him to do and Lundstram loves the club so I presume he was offered a new deal, do you reckon he's not been offered as much money and/or only a two year deal or something.
Good luck with the wagebill and attracting players from that point onIt isn't, but if you take a hardline approach, it would potentially be easier. Make it clear that when a player enters the last 24 months of deal that they either extend or move on. Failure to do either and you are sitting in the stands for 2 years. Aye some players might be acceptable to that, but not many would want to waste 2 years of their career.
He hid for 3 years. He had 2 good spells in 4 years. He will be okay for accomadation in turkey as he has been towing a caravan for years. He is undroppable as there is nobody better to take his place. Had a couple of poor games recently like the rest but imo been one of our better players and never hides. If he goes wish him all the best
Drop both if we have backup.
Ie Dowell for Lundstram and Yilmaz when fit for borna.

Transfer warning to players about seven countries - FIFPRO World Players' Union
FIFPRO is today issuing a transfer warning which advises professional footballers against signing for clubs in Algeria, China, Greece (Super League 2), Libya, Romania, Saudi Arabia and Turkey because of systematic and widespread contractual violations in those countries.fifpro.org
£30k and the rest…Long time defender of BB but wont lose any sleep over either leaving.
Easily £30k off wage bill which can be better used.
Wish them both well in future but if they are daft enough to go to Turkiye they wont have happy times.
