SFA finally wake up and condemn Kamara abuse

Not only is it days late but it's very vague. The SFA don't state support for GK, merely that "the game unites behind" him. Much like the PFA before them they seem to give the impression that in general racism is bad but that they couldn't give two hoots about this specific case.

A worthless statement to save face and an equally worthless sham of an organisation.

Too late and they could have left out the 'after he spoke of' and replaced it with an 'after he received',
Fucking joke of an organisatoon, not fit for purpose. %^*& the SFA.

I wonder if they’ve been making enquiries with plod etc and only commenting once they knew Slavering Prague were talking pish.
I would say more likely that going by the another thread they're due to have a meeting with GK's lawyer today and they've panicked and made a statement that they can point to as showing support.

"Football Unites Against Racism"**

** unless you're Chinese, in which case you're fair game.

The SFA waited for the Prague Chairman to first condemn their own fans.

They can get f@cked. They are moaning today about death threats to their fans while completely overlooking the N word banner and our players social media being plastered with racial abuse.

Things like this are all that's rotten with the sfa, they should've been all over it from the start and defending our player but again they fail, money for nothing spings to mind and a hellava lot for doing nothing

Are they still typing the part where they call on UEFA to take action against Slavia and their vile player?

This should've been issued on Friday. To little to late. It took them the whole weekend to come up with sound bites, pathetic and not fit for purpose.

Probably purely coincidental that Glen's lawyer was, just a few minutes before this statement, on Talksport calling them out for saying nothing.
Glen’s lawyer has a meeting with them this afternoon and he was planning in asking why there’s been no response.
Yeah better later than never. But not a quick enough response IMO.

I heard they'd encountered IT issues as the temperature inside Hampden had reached critical levels, which had affected all of the office equipment.

Seemingly there was mysterious red glow emanating from the neck of the Performance Director at the mention of a racism issue....

If something similar had happened to Marvin Bartley (God forbid) of Livingston for example, the SFA would’ve been all over it within hours.

Tokenism by the incompetents who run our game.

So basically setting up a committee to form sub committees.

They’re going to bore the racists out of football.

Preliminary agenda for the high priority Zoom meeting of The Scottish Football Association’s Equality & Diversity Advisory Board. SFWEEP for short.
1. The board has to make it clear we only open seven days a week for Rangers compliance cases. Issue statement saying members were unavailable. Do not mention Parkhead hospitality.
2. Why did Rangers not issue ear plugs to their players?
3. If issued why did Kamara refuse to wear them?
4. Should Kamara be cited for failure to wear protective equipment?
5. Any ban for Kamara should start next season, as they bastards have already skooshed won the league anyway.
6. Vote of thanks to the chair.
7 Next Meeting, as and when we can accuse Rangers of something.

To avoid confusion, because it's hard to tell, this is made up pish and shouldn't be lifted by the DR or Sun and assumed to be a leak

That reads pish to me. Saying Glen spoke of it and sticking it in quote marks.
It happened, come out and condemn it.
Exactly what I thought. The quotation marks make it sound like they don't believe Kamara.

Fair enough you don't want to chastise someone and shun them out based on a Claim without looking at the evidence ( even though there's plenty of it ATM), but to word it like that as if he's lying is equally wrong

Only because everyone and their granny had already beaten them to it.
They would prefer UEFA to do us for the ‘ assault’ rather than find Slavia guilty of racism.

Only took them a few days, but good to see they're pushing forward

Isn’t this an international incident ?

not sure why aamer anwar would claim heard nothing from sfa if Ian Maxwell is telling the truth that there equality board were on the job on Thursday night . Or maybe they were then expecting that dose of piss to actually do something that night or Friday with what information had been harvested .

it reads like extending a board and process change without having any real focus or purpose .

nah it’s really obvious they are just a big whitey honky tonk shitfest in there . Equality is the last thing they would deliver .

Oh so something did happen Thursday, nice of them to at least recognise it! A legit organisation would have been lobbying UEFA and in high level talks with the Czech F.A and also calling a meeting with all the home nations F.A to invoke meaningful change.
Benefit of the doubt hat on, if they're to be judged on the vile racism abuse of not only 1 player on the pitch but multiple players off it through social media, from this point on then it better be rigorous and forceful. If you are Ryan Jack and Jon McLaughlin would you want to play for a team who didn't defend your teammate? Not to mention Liam Palmer and Che Adams or any other player of any creed, religion, ethnicity for that matter. We're watching you, we're all watching
