Akin to the 'Ah was drunk M'lud' line of defence. Gets short shrift (usually).Septic fielded a player who should have been in quarantine. He was not allowed to play .
The fact that they “didn’t know” is no excuse.

Is this Operation Stop The Ten in action?
Our players need to be fully informed and warned. I have no doubt they will be.Precisely. That was why they were scratching around so much yesterday for something to land at our door.
The Aberdeen pubs probably didnt recognise the 'stars' in their midst. Ballinthegoalie was in a VIP Ryan Air front seat, no way he booked that himself. Celtics travel agent did IMO. Aberdeen and RyanAir innocentPubs in Aberdeen and Ryanair to be punished for allowing this to happen
The yellow card was issued directly after the first game of the season to all Scottish football clubs for the Aberdeen player’s breaching the spfl and Scotgov agreement on Covid precautions that enabled all clubs to play.A Yellow Card
as the Government adviser’ advised
HeartsWhich club will get the worst punishment.?
That's the first cover up if the Racist is not included in this; Two strikes for the Scum!Griffiths should be included in this as he had a house party which is something the FM is stating should not have been happening as that's why there is a rise in COVID cases
Pmsl here superb lolAberdeen will be docked 10pts and celtic will be fined £20 quid and allowed 3 yrs to pay it
I think that’s probably fair enough. They’ll never deduct points - they’ll get a fine but truth is the damage has been done. If we do our bit and are 11 points to the good, you’ll have a group of players who have never played under pressure chasing games and cramming fixtures in where they are more likely to drop points. I think the fixture pile up and the head start for us is as much sporting punishment than we would have reasonably asked for. I’d like to see the fined and it’s only fair those fixtures remain behind close doors even if fans are allowed back in. They should not be allowed to profit from their own negligence. This’ll be one of these “establishing a precedent” hearings.
A yellow card at most for the clubs.
As well as possibly starting a second wave in Iceland...something dodge between the Scum and Euefa there; the Irish delegate earning his crust along with, Power? The yellow card was issued directly after the first game of the season to all Scottish football clubs for the Aberdeen player’s breaching the spfl and Scotgov agreement on Covid precautions that enabled all clubs to play.
The 2nd incident is Celtic and bolingoli breaking the self same rules after the yellow card statement to allow the 2nd game against Kilmarnock to be affected by fielding a player who should have be self isolating as per agreement with scotgov = red card incident
Celtic’s ignorance of said trip is inadmissible as a defense as it was their responsibility to ensure all employees were made aware of what was required - think of it as a health and safety issue at work where the employer either knowingly or unknowingly allowed an employee to breach health and safety guidelines by acting irresponsible and possibly putting other employees at risk of serious injury (in this case catching Covid)
Surely the Icelandic club will be onto UEFA about this?
Eh?Here here we'll have none of that sympathy pish for the scum on this forum. Can you just imagine Liewell on that board if it had been a Rangers player...FFS he'd not be so sympathetic i'm sure...be wanting us demoted again, the fecker!
If they get the same level of fine, its harder on Aberdeen than Celtic ! The latter should get at least 5 times the penalty given the relative home crowd sizes.I think that’s probably fair enough. They’ll never deduct points - they’ll get a fine but truth is the damage has been done. If we do our bit and are 11 points to the good, you’ll have a group of players who have never played under pressure chasing games and cramming fixtures in where they are more likely to drop points. They would take themselves all the way to the CL cup final on technicalities, if they could.Exactly, because seltic certainly would 100%
In no way am I sticking up for the papes or the sheep however, is there another footballing governing body that bends over backwards and takes great delight in punishing its member clubs?
Motherwell are already peddling this rubbish! The Club's are given a special permission to play over other professions. If a player's actions prevent a game going ahead etc then it is a Club problem therefore should be punished. I'd say the same if it was us.No doubt it will be; Cltic did everything in their power to avoid the situation, it would be harsh to punish the club when it was the player at fault.
I don't think there is any argument. One could argue that Griffiths is an entirely separate species
It would be very simple if we knew when Celtic started training, was it the Wednesday or Friday.Bolingolis flights must be part of the investigation, I still don’t believe he was only out the country for 24 hours , we all know he flew out from prestwick but where and when did he fly back , the itinerary must be made public especially with a uefa game coming up they could be endangering Many others
No doubts you are correct mate. But this is Scotland and Celtic run the sfa/Spfl and as history has shown they do what they want.Legally, they cannot just say that this time counts as a warning and any future offence will be dealt with differently. In law it is known as precedence, and once it is set, it takes a change in the law to see different outcomes for the same offence. Whatever punishment they hand down now becomes the standard, so if they want to be able to throw the book at teams, they need to throw the book at those 2 rancid organisations.
An investigation you say....Both.
Players charged and clubs investigated separately.

Following investigation, the SPFL has opened separate disciplinary proceedings against each of Aberdeen FC and Celtic FC for alleged breaches of the SPFL’s COVID-19 – Requirements and Testing Regulation.
There will be no further comment pending the outcome of these disciplinary proceedings.
I would likeBolingoli to open up and tell the truth about how long he was away and who knew.Celtc will plead not guilty as both Griffiths and Bolingoli are separate entities.
Don,t You mean celtic has praised celtic for how they have actedThe SFA have already praised Celtic for how they acted. There’s not a snowballs chance in hell that they’ll now punish them.
Which club will get the worst punishment.?
Small fine for those 2 scumbag clubs followed by points deductions for any other club ends up immediately at CAS and there is only one winner when that happens. No doubts you are correct mate. But this is Scotland and Celtic run the sfa/Spfl and as history has shown they do what they want.
Hearts and partick thought they had a bloody good case mate. Look how that ended up.Small fine for those 2 scumbag clubs followed by points deductions for any other club ends up immediately at CAS and there is only one winner when that happens.
It clearly has to be Celtic because of what the player done but both will get the same. Future offences will be dealt with worse.
