Hmmm interesting. Think I'll reserve judgement then until I see it all lit up in the evening.as others have said the banners are decent but they look horrible against the mingin concrete and brick work. seen on twitter as well apparently their is ighting rigs going in behind the banners?
In that case then there must have been Tims half-assing the job. It wouldn't be like them, right enough.
Sand blasting or paint, whatever is the best solution. A few protestant shoulders to the wheel should address the eyesore on our home.
It's apparently happening as we speak. Not a popular opinion but I think the changing rooms need modernised.
it has been power washed, it needs painted at the very least .I can guarantee you I could get that off with my wee kercher . It just hasn’t been done . Whoever it is running wild with banners in our stadium needs told to stop , it’s chronic and if someone doesn’t put an end to it the stadium will resemble a Rug market in Marrakesh by the time our 150th comes around .
The tiles though ....many a blueroom owner would donate teeth for them!
As long as its not simple shower gel, that'll mean kirk broadfoots on his way back.
They look like the tiles out of the bogs, not the dressing room
Once you start painting it you'll need to do it every year or sooptions for the stained white concrete facade either Grit blast or masonry paint ,overclad. The easiest and cheapest is to paint.
I think that's a slight improvement because the old banners looked rubbish anyway. Also does everything have to be blue? In this country and on our stadium a bit of a lighter colour would do nicely I think. A lighter blue or a white background. Dark blue and red doesn't look great on a red brick stadium in my opinion.Replacing the old banners with new, no big deal.

I know I’m getting old when I find myself bordering on agreeing with those who complain about parts of the stadium being manky.
It was the picture we put out the other day of the view going up the steps to the directors box and the steps themselves were filthy.
I was thinking the same. A white masonry sandtex or zinsser paint bought at a trade price isn't exactly going to break the bank. Can they not paint concrete with some good old staunch sounding masonry paint?
I think it's been done and that's as good as it gets. Needs sandblasted or painted.Edit, just noticed the other post. There was a guy with a cherry picker and a Kercher up at that exact bit last week . Why didn’t he do the greyed concrete ?
The club shop could have sold them as souvenirs, opportunity missedScarf sellers could be on to new earner “get your Rangers shower room tiles here”
I’m sure thats in the Viz Roger Mellie ProfanasaurusI can guarantee you I could get that off with my wee kercher . It just hasn’t been done . “Barry Scott’s” son plays for my u16’s football team, I know “Barry” quite well. True story Dat!
Don't tell Dundee Untd..We had 5K going spare and couldn't think of anything else worthwhile to spend it on.
How many times this has to be posted including photos I don’t know but it’s been trialed, various methods, and none have worked. The type of concrete it is I am not surprised. The lack of proper cleaning on the grey concrete sections on the stands is dumbfounding. A complete eyesore and makes any 'sprucing up' of other parts pretty ineffective.
Did you take any picsJust up at Ibrox there, noticed that they’re changing all the signs above the turnstiles and megastore is busy with work men! All the new signs up on lampposts also
Looks like they have repainted the dressing room blue? I think it got a coat of white paint prior to the 18/19 season.

Oh right!this is an old photo of mine, probably 5+ years.
Christ they have never cleaned the walkway bricks under Sandy jardine stand there bloody filthyI understand the clubs point of view trying to add these banners but they could have cleaned the concrete first. They will no doubt just make a mess of the new banners if done afterwards... ah well.
Scottish water repairsMaybe asked before, why is the road closed outside the main entrance?
Away ya go ya posh getAs long as they don't take the cushions off my seat they can do what they want.

I'd be doing a wee bit a dumpster diving if I lived up there! The tiles though ....many a blueroom owner would donate teeth for them!

I would imagine most people arriving at the stadium would pass those gates firstI know it's hardly a priority, but always wondered why they put the "proper" gates at the Broomloan end when the Club Deck was built, would love to see them back in their rightful spot at the Copland Road end of the ground!
Couldn’t agree more mate, the original gates should be where they belong at the Copland Road end.I know it's hardly a priority, but always wondered why they put the "proper" gates at the Broomloan end when the Club Deck was built, would love to see them back in their rightful spot at the Copland Road end of the ground!
Cushions!! I wish. Hard seats for me. Waitress service is OK thoughAway ya go ya posh get
