Tav! Mark the guy out wide!

At least 'Tav' is easy to pronounce for them. It's not just Tav that gets it either. Joe Ariba, Glen Camera, Borna Brassic and Fashion Salaka get abuse too.
 
I’ll flip the question, how many times have we seen Alfie or Hagi hit a diagonal across to Tav in acres of space and we get a goal from his cross or play? Or Goldson over to Kent running in behind his fullback?

I’m not saying there’s nothing wrong with being compact as a back 4 but there needs to be an acknowledgment that there is a risk you let someone in behind.
It's a balancing act.
We do play narrow, and in effect give up the wide areas when not in possession.
I felt we afforded them too much time and space in midfield last night, thankfully they weren't good enough to take advantage.
