For selfish reasons I like having a local game and with Dundee United potentially going down, Dundee is the obvious replacement.Hopefully Dundee make a c*nt of it.
Did they not play all their games there for a round of league games? Or was it just the big games?Hearts done it.
Hearts done with permission from the SPFL and the clubs involved due to rebuilding works with their Main Stand taken place at Tynecastle - totally differentHearts done it.
Which is correct - Tynecastle would been their requested ground in the the summer of 2017It’s not. The guy said you need one stadium for the whole season, which you don’t.
Yes for different reasons they played a total of 4 games at Murrayfield rather than reverse the fixtureSo they played at more than one stadium that’s all I’m saying
I was at a Queens Park game last season at Firhill and they had a small but pretty vocal group. Certainly no worse than the likes of Hamilton.I'm sure a couple of hundred will venture out the woodwork when/if they are playing in Premier league.
There is no percentage for League games - just an allocationUnder SPFL rules away teams would be entitled to 5% of the tickets meaning an away allocation of…95.
If they go up its because they deserve toNo offence mate, but the league is horrendous as it is without adding this shite to it.
Yet people continue to wonder why there is no money put into Scottish football.
A club with literally no fans.
800-1000 home fans each week?1800 I think
Hearts done it.
I’m surprised at Haughey to be honest.…. And people wonder why decent players chose the Championship in England over us …. This is a symptom of piss poor executive leadership in the sfa and spfl
What do you want them to do? Force them to build a stadium they don’t need like St Johnstone, Falkirk, Livingston etc?…. And people wonder why decent players chose the Championship in England over us …. This is a symptom of piss poor executive leadership in the sfa and spfl
Tbf to St Johnstone they used to fill it regularly when it was first built, even in the First Division. What do you want them to do? Force them to build a stadium they don’t need like St Johnstone, Falkirk, Livingston etc?
Ehm I’d expect the executives to get best values for money TV deals and not sign us up for the rest of the century for a pittance …. Thus allowing clubs to provide facilities similar to a Denmark or Norway as an exampleWhat do you want them to do? Force them to build a stadium they don’t need like St Johnstone, Falkirk, Livingston etc?
I used to go from time to time when I stayed on Somerville Drive and had nothing else to do, but the largest crowd I saw in that time was just over 2000 when Hampden reopened after the commonwealth games, and that was on a bank holiday weekend when it was a fiver a head to get in. I think kids were a pound.I'm sure a couple of hundred will venture out the woodwork when/if they are playing in Premier league.
Hybrid. They spent lots of money on the surface. It's the same as some dutch teams use and the national team train on similar. Is it? %^*& sake! Should have looked a bit harder!
I am sure you would get the few causal fans at their games if they were to play there in the Premiership so maybe yes800-1000 home fans each week?
Ditto, in reverse, with away support?
Might be full most weeks!
Have you seen stadium capacities in Norways top flight? Their biggest one is only slightly bigger than Tynecastle. Their second biggest is smaller than Rugby Park.Ehm I’d expect the executives to get best values for money TV deals and not sign us up for the rest of the century for a pittance …. Thus allowing clubs to provide facilities similar to a Denmark or Norway as an example
There isn't any minimum capacity now for the PremiershipThere was an article in the Herald about QP last Saturday. It said there was a 6000 minimum capacity for the Premiership. I doubt their new stand holds as much as 1500 and if there is enough room for temporary stands to bring it up to 6000.
Ayr would be excellent.Queens or and ayr hopefully up, dundee can rot down there.
for me I think losing to arbroath last week at home was a huge blow and has opened the door for Dundee.Every chance it will be Dundee who come up anyway.
Is it not another artificial?Pitch looks fantastic.
Artificial or hybrid apparently! Found that out subsequently! Is it not another artificial?
It’s hybrid. Is it? %^*& sake! Should have looked a bit harder!
thats nonsense regarding sharing funds, precedents have been set for decades.Would be amazed if they didn’t use Hampden for some games if they go up.
That said, some teams would rightly call that out as an advantage in terms of money making so there would need to either be a cap or sharing of funds
I don’t think you’re allowed to in the leagueWould be amazed if they didn’t use Hampden for some games if they go up.

Hearts done it.
They can't switch between two stadiums just to make money. They will play at Hampden and make a lot of money. Good luck to them.
No but they can to host Premiership football. They can't switch between two stadiums just to make money.
They won't share with Thistle after the mess of the Firhill surface the last time they shared. And the tv companies won't have a say in it, they can't just move to Hampden from their own stadium to make money when it suits them.No but they can to host Premiership football.
Ultimately the TV companies would rather show us v QP at Hampden than anywhere else too. That will be the clincher. Not sure Partick would be happy hosting a team in the league above having sell outs when we play them and they are stuck playing Arbroath either.
Queen’s Park wont play at Hampden against us just because Sky want them to ffsNo but they can to host Premiership football.

I normally would have welcomed Queens Park into the Premiership being a fan of their once Corinthian values, but their rumoured land grab on Poloc Cricket Club's ground is outrageous. How can a well respected football institution force the demise of an even older and valued club in our city? Queens Park already own Lochinch( the former Police athletic ground in Pollock Park) surely they could build their training base there.
