The performance ,outwith Butland, Dessers and Sterling,was totally unacceptable.From the manager through to
Every other player.
The team selection and tactics were abysmal.We were second to every ball and we let them run over us.
We can complain about referees decisions and the opposition fans,but the simple truth is we were garbage all over the pitch.
We played like cowards up until the last ten minutes.We were pedestrian and only one team looked like they knew what was onthe line.
I can accept getting beat by a superior team and we go down fighting but they are not a great side yet we stood off them and made tramps like scales walk out from defence like he was Beckenbaur.
If the Manager doesent learn from this and sets us up the same way in the cup final he can leave along with the majority of this team.

The manager is responsible for team selection and tactics the tactics were a joke and we were getting torn apart.
It was noticeable how we improved when Raskin and Ridvan came on.They were offensive and snapped in to tackles.Cantwell should also have had a part to play especially as Diomande ran out of steam and dissapeared in the second half.

Honestly the amount of threads I’m seeing on here even talking about the thought of Phil losing his job is just utter shite and so recycled.

The man has won us a trophy and had a squad littered with dross and injuries overperforming between October and March before the usual suspect losers bottled it under pressure like they have for years.

We have so many injuries to the point we had to play Dujon Sterling at CB in the second half and bring Scott Wright off the bench.

We’ve seen a lot of the current losers in our squad throw Van Bronckhorst, the cockney car salesman and even Gerrard under the bus with their shitebag mentality. Even Pep Guardiola would struggle to manage the perinnial losers and dross at our disposal.

Now put the fkn drink down and get to yer bed.

Mate that is so far from reality,where was our man for man when oriley strolled in to space and scored or the number of times they could run unopposed to out penalty box,if it wasnt for Butland and their inability to stay onside it would have been a real hammering.We weresecond to every ball and had one attempt on target,it pains me to say it but we were garbage.

It’s not excuses, it’s acknowledging the mess we’re in, being pissed off but not being utterly ridiculous The manager has inherited a piss poor squad, had them overperforming for 6 months before the injuries caught up and the usual bottle jobs shat the bed and has had absolutely f*ck all to spend.

Dessers was absolutely horrendous.

i must admit when i looked up and saw Scott Wright coming on i was about ready to call it a day, needed something and we're back calling up the likes of this

He didn't press, and couldn't hold the ball up at any point.

He could score 21 next season, but we're not winning the league with players of the calibre of Dessers up front.

He'll almost certainly be sold anyway.

Yes we are not a good side, it was our relatively new players who stood up to be counted, the old hands who have been to that midden many times, again the ones who let us down.

If he plays a number 10 and three forwards against them at Hampden, then questions will be asked.

He won't get sacked, but just learn from what everyone can see.

He's not even on the team sheet. He's a big bloke who should be able to bully his way around the frontline but comes nowhere near doing it. His control is so poor that he fails to hold the ball up, and a few times in the game today when he should be busting a gut to get central he's nowhere. He's garbage.

Thanks. Only about 20 other threads saying exactly the same thing, so it's nice to see another one. The manager is going nowhere. The manager will do what he can, with the budget he has in the summer, to try and clear up the mess he inherited. Last October, everyone but everyone said the squad was shite. Remember? The manager said at the time he didn't have a magic wand. Remember? Now some are suggesting the manager should be sacked, because couldn't turn that bunch of shite into champions from 8 points behind. The mentality and entitlement of some of our supporters is no better than a spoilt child.

The fact O'Philey managed to get 2 or 3 shots off from a similar position before his goal I think speaks more to the static happy to lose attitude of our players rather than any tactics.

Probably right but Sterling got our assist and also looked head and shoulders above Souttar in nullifying Kyogo at CB, even with 10 men
