they've bid for dundee united keeper im told - 650kThey’ve spent £10-15m already, but they still need a keeper, LB, RB, CB at an absolute minimum, that’s gonna cost them a small fortune with today’s prices

Watched the whole game. They started with what will very likely be their first 11 in Europe, whu were missing 6 first picks due to euros, including Rice, but still fielded a strong team. Going forward they looked ok at times, particularly on the break, and it was pretty even first 10mins. They pressed high and the young Israeli was constantly in acres of space down the right and threatened until it came to his final ball, which was woeful. Their first came from good pressing/a defensive mistake, and was a good finish. Moyes tightened up on the wings and Abada disappeared out the game from 20mins onwards.
Christie, out of contract come xmas, was by a country mile the best Celtic player on show but even his goal was a keeper error as hit virtually straight at him and he flapped and palmed it in. Edouard missed 2 absolute sitters but held the ball and linked the attacks very well, they will really miss that when he's gone as none of their other strikers have that in their game. Turnbull was non existent the entire time he was on the pitch and other than his goal mcgregor contributed little. Soro was the best of their 3 midfielders, which isn't saying much given how poor their other 2 were and he also conceded the penalty with a stupid challenge from behind.
Barkas actually made 2 very good saves before whu scored their equaliser and another good save later in the 1st half too but his positioning was woeful for the 2nd he conceded. The entire back 4 were unbelievably poor and defensively incredibly naive. Cut open again and again and caught out with balls in behind countless times. Any teams with genuine pace up front will murder them.
West Ham could, and should, have scored 10+ as they also squandered 4 clear 1 on 1's with the keepers. Had a good laugh at the subliminal message Ange sent to the GFITW by making all his subs on the 56th minute of the match and at the level of abuse directed at Griffiths. Their new signings that played, Abada started brightly and looked a threat then vanished for the rest of the match, the 2 young guys from Sheffield Wednesday were woeful, particularly the defender and it was telling that the youth player (Murray?) started the match ahead of him. All in all a thoroughly amusing watch.
You got the BEGGARS spot on!They have millions of the bastards. If they don’t go to see them on a Saturday they go and prey with them on a Sunday.
How so many millions of people can turn a blind eye beggars belief
Any gifs of this pleaseHim shaking his head sadly as the first rounds of boos aired was utterly glorious.
I hope it broke your heart you little fúcking weasel.
West Ham would have ran these disgusting vermin ragged.I agree with this unless a lot of westham lads got in
they have no shame and have brushed and deny far far worse than this
Scum
I'll be shocked if Clarke doesn't end the season as the filth managerI get the impression the Australian is a temporary appointment made with the assistance of the City Group, while they await their main target such as Clarke.
Hopefully their 'form' continues into the start of the League season.
Hopefully the likes of Dolly and Hibs will take note.Watched the whole game. I think you might be doing some of the other Scottish teams a disservice.Liked your post because it wasn't about them being sh1t.
Your post is hopefully an insight as to what lies ahead.
What we have to remember is that there are not going to be as many incisive passes ripping them from many Scottish opponents.
Tbh, watching that today it reminded me a lot of Warburton's season in the premiership. Some days it will work, others it'll fall apart. It's fine playing all out attack against far inferior players in a division below but once he came up against organised, physical defences set up on the counter it just didn't work often enough. He wouldn't change tactics and we didn't have the quality in the squad to always score more than the opposition. They are being asked to play even more expansively than Warburton did and are so exposed middle to back it's actually unbelievable. In this window they will have to get in 5 or 6 genuine quality players to have enough to even be a threat to us imo. If we play them in the style we play European matches then that scoreline today could be easily repeated as on the break and/or balls in behind and they are struggling to cope big time.Liked your post because it wasn't about them being sh1t.

He is a good keeper. Im sure Utd would tell them to bolt at that price.they've bid for dundee united keeper im told - 650k
Yeah, he is free to talk to other clubs just now. I can't see him still being there once the window shuts and if he has something sorted but the clubs can't agree on a fee for him to go early then I can really see him downing tools until Xmas as he won't want injured. Win, win either way as he has been by far their best player so far.All good to hear
I’ve seen it a few times that Christie is out of context in January. That’s a bit unusual isn’t it? Is that accurate?
Wouldn’t be so sure, aren’t they skint? He is a good keeper. Im sure Utd would tell them to bolt at that price.
They’d no choice. Brainwashed. To play they way Postocoglu wants to play then you need elite defenders.
Even if Celtic sign upgrades they are going to be far too easy to get in behind.
I find it crazy so many of them are taken in by this manager.
Outside our 2 he's the next best keeper in the league imo. Hopefully they decide to stick with Barkas and spend what they have elsewhere. He is a good keeper. Im sure Utd would tell them to bolt at that price.
Basically a job interview for Christie today.Christie, out of contract come xmas, was by a country mile the best Celtic player on show but even his goal was a keeper error as hit virtually straight at him and he flapped and palmed it in. What the hell has this got to do with today? As I've posted before, August 87, last friendly before season started
Celtic 1 Arsenal 5.
How I laughed. But not at the end of the season.
They'll get ripped off for any player in our league now all the teams know there desperateHe is a good keeper. Im sure Utd would tell them to bolt at that price.
they're losing about 30k a week, he will be offWouldn’t be so sure, aren’t they skint?
He’s a good keeper but seems like they’re loading up with back-up quality keepers.
Paid for his old mans season ticket?Erm, ok what’s this about?
On the bench wondering what he has to do to get a start ahead of Curtis Main at AberdeenI hate to think where hes going to be this time next year...
Erm, ok what’s this about?
Is it not relating to when McGregor was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend years ago? Surprisingly wasnt much of a story at the time but Ive seen it on here.Erm, ok what’s this about?
Remember the Duffy "Spot the ball" last year.I wonder where the striker put it.
I'm presuming it's about McGregor getting done for drink driving years agoErm, ok what’s this about?
Young Israeli winger. Going by his analytics, posted on another thread the other day, he is a decent finisher but apparently a poor dribbler and crosser of the ball. Given freedom to play he looked dangerous, going by today, but in the same way Frimpong looked dangerous. In other words looked good in flashes but zero end product. He also didn't appear to have overly high workrate today either.Who is this Abada fella they're pinning all their hopes on?
I thought about that today as well.As I've posted before, August 87, last friendly before season started
Celtic 1 Arsenal 5.
How I laughed. But not at the end of the season.
No Rice eitherSouchek and Coufal were not playing, aside from that it looks like their first team.
When you consider Barky has still to do that retracting arms trick that he excels at, then the striker has even more of the goal at his mercy.
Assaulting his girlfriend and done for drunk driving. He’s practically a black belt - 5th Dan tàrrier with a lifestyle like thatIs it not relating to when McGregor was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend years ago? Surprisingly wasnt much of a story at the time but Ive seen it on here.
Always warms the heartBheast on Bheast?
Lovely stuff.
What's Big Ange saying to it? Worried at the performance or just disappointed to lose 3 points?
Arsetex.They use that as artex.
I doubt it.They'll get ripped off for any player in our league now all the teams know there desperate
