When can we win the league?

You'd need to take Aberdeen and Hibs into account for that to happen.
 
I don’t think we’ll win it pre split.

We’ll drop some points along the way, also.

I’m going for game 2 of the split. Hopefully at home.
 
If you add up every point we win from now and every point they drop ( beat them and it counts as 6 points) then once that gets to 29 then we will have won the league.

The quickest it could happen is 13th February, if we won our next 5 and they lost their next 5.

Knowing Gerrard’s standards he’ll be hoping to achieve CL Group qualification SAB.

Winning a few more in Europe could mean we are seeded in the Qualifying Round next season.

I think we are 24 points or so & Slavia Prague were seeded on 26.5 this season ? Or something similar to that.

They draw just one of their games in hand and we at minimum match their remaining results, we win it before the split. I think we can do it.

I think he will go with his strongest available team until it's mathematically over in the league. I also think that the European games are a bonus and they take care of themselves.

We have some time to consider it mate, so results in the coming weeks will let him see his scope.

I do think we need to try & think longer term if we can because the benefits are potentially game changing. Ie CL Group 35m.
 
League cup final is 28th Feb , if Livvy get thru we are scheduled to play them that day - wonder when that will be rescheduled.

That would require Aberdeen to lose most of theirs also.
Hibs need to lose a couple also.

The sooner the better. Imagine a scenario where we win the league so early, it allows us to play weakened teams in the league and concentrate on the treble - League, Scottish cup & Europa.
 
Ideally win the league before the split. Then we can rest players and have some team rotation domestically in April and May in preparation for our Europa League Quarters and Semi finals, and also for the final itself in Gdansk;)
 
I can see the Dhim's form improving a little and I suppose there is a chance that we could have the odd slip up. Having said that I can't see us doing any worse than match their results which would take us the to start of the split before it is a mathematical certainly.

Realistically I expect that it'll happen a couple of games before that which could bring Porkheid into play. B-)
