There are six US State capitals west of Los Angeles.
No where can be wetter than coulport2nd wettest place in the uk after Fort William.
I took off from Auckland at 7pm Sunday evening and landed in Sam Francisco at 10am sunday morning.Since the international date line is not a straight line, it’s possible to go between tomorrow, yesterday, and today by simply travelling directly north or south.
Not seen that one before. Got the obvious five, but had to look up Carson City. There are six US State capitals west of Los Angeles.
I was confused by the latest Dr Who, now this.Since the international date line is not a straight line, it’s possible to go between tomorrow, yesterday, and today by simply travelling directly north or south.
That blew my mind. And Hamilton is further South than parts of England.

The Firth of Forth lies on the same latitude as Newfoundland, Labrador and the Alaskan peninsula. Slightly fewer icebergs though
Naples is as well.Rome is further north than New York
The Republic of Ireland is further north than Northern Ireland
On avarage Barcelona has less sunlight than Glasgow.Had to look at this for an obscure reason and I was quite surprised.

MoroccoIf you were to take Norway, lift it up and stand it on its most southern tip, then let it fall forward in a southerly direction, where would it land?

My favourite of this ilk is that Exeter is further east than Glasgow, maybe even Greenock.Edinburgh is further west than Liverpool…
I know this one because I did a Sporcle quiz with friends one night and lost out because I couldn’t see in my mind who could be further north than Stranraer but south of Hamilton.Hamilton is further south than the northern most point of England.
Apart from Great Britain? In geographical terms Lewis and Harris are indeed one island, the boundary between the two areas is traditionally Loch Seaforth but this doesn't divide the island. The narrowest point of land is at Tarbert on Harris, but there is no clear water between the two there either.
Lewis and Harris is also the UK's largest island.
