Match Thread ** Motherwell v Rangers - 12:30 Saturday 31st - BT Sports **

Terrible performance, Murty doesn't know how to change the system and teams know how to play against us. He has brought us on since the Caixana debacle but we now need an experienced manager to take us to the next level.

I’m sorry but I don’t see what Graeme Dorrans brings to our team ,very very average ,even when he was fully fit he’s not a match winner ,much of a likeness to windass ,moments of brilliance that’s about it,I’d rather he was 8/10 every week instead of up and down

Consistency beats intensity .

17 goals and 8 assists is something a prime Dorrans doesn't get near.

We don't have a shadow of a prime Dorrans.

Dreadful first half, better second half, overall another poor performance. Murty slack of decision making is killing us at times. Some of our players need to make better decisions too

Giving Cummings 9 minutes out of 40 to score a winner is absolutely criminal. Murty is a boys club level coach, never a professional manager.

Him being in charge of Rangers is an absolute fallacy.

And he only brought him on because Windass got injured. Useless

When will this board react and take the bull by the horns?

The lack of leadership and perseverance with the hapless Murty is mind boggling!

Two poor teams, really.

First half Motherwell get a soft penalty, follow with a quick second then blow chances to finish the game.

Second half we do exactly the same.

Might have been good for the neutral but no use to us.

Lot of stick here for Morelos. That is totally out of order. He did more to get the team going than anyone else. He surely cannot be condemned for that mistake at the end. Wish we had more like him in the team.

How about the recent miss against Celtic then? (which would have most likely have secured a draw)

Or the previous one at Parkhead? (which would have been the winner)

More often than not he plays with his head down and today’s ludicrous effort near the end of 90 minutes was absolute nonsense from a professional footballer.

Wish we had punted him if/when we had the chance.

Well that result was better than the defeat that looked on the cards in the first half but in all honesty a single point hasn't really achieved anything - second place will be difficult to achieve.

We're still crying out for a proper DM.

If Windass is out injured then that solves a selection decision for Murty.

Another full week of training and I'd start McCrorie at DM and push Dorrans in behind Morelos v Dundee.

Dreadful first half and a far better 2nd half.

Dorrans, Docherty and Alves all grew into the game 2nd half.

What rumours?
No way a new man will come in this season ( even if we have one in mind)

Exactly. There will be NO change between now and the end of the season. It's madness to think otherwise. Do folk really think that we have a new Manager lined up, sitting waiting at home doing nothing and prepared to start right away - yet we've just ignored that and said 'nah mate, just wait until the Summer before you start'? Crazy notion.

We either have a Manager lined up who can't or won't start until Summer - or we haven't a clue what to do next. Hopefully its the former - but I have grave doubts.

Murty looks a broken man in this interview.

Do the decent thing rangers and take him out of circulation.

The problem with binning him is, can we get someone in now who's going to take us forward long-term? If we appoint someone, say, next week, are they - and will they continue to be - the best candidate for the job long-term.

If yes, then get him tae fuk.

It is a bit like the Warburton era that teams are sussing our system and playing it against us. We are not changing into a Plan B.
If McCrorie Was it enough for the bench he was fit enough to come on for 15 minutes to at least give some thrust into the middle of the midfield that was sadly lacking.

Murty looks almost in tears.

He is now very much a caretaker, I think he looks like he knows he isn't getting the job.

Exact same as the tims game, we could smell blood and they were there for the taking and Murty does %^*& all.

I know he won't go before the end of the season, but this charade is now completely pointless.

Two wide players away from home when we have Docherty, a 60% fit Dorrans and Windass is fucking mental.

You'd think we were Barca the way we set up every week. Very few decent sides play 4-3-3 as it leaves your midfield in a constant battle especially away from home

We should stop these attacks on Murty. We know he’s not the man to take us forward but twice he’s answered the call and for that we should be forever grateful especially after the McInnes debacle when many a man would have told the board to get stuffed and god knows what state we’d have been then. He’s out his depth but he’s shown guts to carry on. We all know he won’t be manager next season so let’s get behind him for one last go at the Filth.

We managed to turn that game in our favour in the second half
An got into great positions, just poor final balls at the by line,or we could have had a great comeback

Just frustrating 1 point from 9

Scunnered.
Our weaknesses and lack of adaptability were clear to see but honestly how can a collection of hatchet men and divers represent Scottish football in it's top league?

Could have pushed the scum all the way this season, won 55 and stopped 10.

Instead we're scrapping for fourth and a European spot. Fukin scandalous that this board have allowed this to happen: it amounts to fuckin thievery of Season Tickets.
