There has to be an underlying reason for this. Something in our culture/training.We must have the worse injury record/recovery in world football
I love being perfect!Pedantry loyal
Maybe the medical staff initially thinking it was nothing means we rushed him back into making it worse. I dont know but somethings no right at the clubCould have bet your house on that, from an injury that at the beginning was nothing.
I keep asking myself how long can we fall victim to this sort of thing before it’s no longer a coincidence or perceived bad luck?I don't even know who or what our medical staff is now tbh..
I don't think it's so wild to speculate that they're not very good either, especially given the lay-offs we've had. When Pep was at Bayern, he fired his medical team because he thought they were crap (Wohlfart etc.) - the best in Germany at the time.
Mourinho at Chelsea was the same. Read about it at many other big clubs.
If it can happen there, it can happen at Rangers. Quite clearly physically the players aren't what they were two years ago.
TORE the muscle? That's a surgery situation right?Tore a calf muscle in training on Friday is what I’ve been told.
Absolutely nothing to do with luck.Honest to fu@k we have no luck at all with injures to key players. Perhaps an over reaction from me but we must be one of the worst clubs for injuries to key players.
Football players all over the world are still getting injuries.Absolutely nothing to do with luck.
Ross wilson either doesn’t listen to medical/sports science or (as I suspect) they’re making failings regularly. Either way - not great. Wilson failed to retain a large part of our medical team last season. A big issue. Injury is very much predictable and preventable now a days.
Roofe would be on a tenner a week by now.Just a thought but I remember I once worked with a Company where it went from receiving full wages when sick to, a much reduced payment. This cured more sickness, than any drug that was ever invented LOL
Maybe, would depend on the severity of the tear. There’s different grades.TORE the muscle? That's a surgery situation right?
If it’s that then it’s the same injury as Morelos who was basically out for 5 months.TORE the muscle? That's a surgery situation right?
Buy injury prone players and shocked when they’re all out injured
Our medical team and sports science department must be the worst in world football.
List them all?Buy injury prone players and shocked when they’re all out injured
A minor knock at Ibrox more often becomes a major concern when the cranks we have on our medical team get a hold of them.
I genuinely reckon most of our injured players would recover quicker if they avoided treatment from them.
Helander and Ramsay and Balogun had fairly heavy injury records, no? Or we don't count them?List them all?
Roofe and Soutter are the only two punts weve taken, out of how many?
This is the way unfortunately......Unbelievable the injuries we get now.
I'm not saying this has anything to do with his injury, but I think we're starting to really see the impact of the thugs in Scottish football on our players. You don't have to leave the park straight away for a bad injury to have happened. The way our players are treated compared to most teams is Unbelievable.
Calm down dearThat is absolutlely hillarious!!!
What's the point in trying to build a team? We"re a fuckin joke!
there are no real "thugs" in Scottish football these days. Imagine how some of the players of the past would fare in todays game ... souness, forsyth etc. Its a man's game and there are too many pussies playing it. Oops ... better not say man's game or i'll get crucified ... change that to HARD game. This is the way unfortunately......
Of course it can.Seem to be far too many now. Eyes must be on the medical team at some point. Cant be bad luck this often with players FFS.
Whoever sanctioned buying John Souttar needs sacked! With Souttar, if your neighbour has a car that you constantly see break down, would you go and buy it off him?
We got what we deserved with that one
It’s got to the point we need a squad of 40 players to be able to have 18 available for a first 11 and a bench.Whoever sanctioned buying John Souttar needs sacked!
Originally a knee injury. Just reading the training one. Probably been the best of the new signings and overall. Gutted for him and the team. What was the original injury and what is this new injury?
Be nice if we were actually told. Cant actually think of a single reason as to why it’s not divulged
Hopefully will heal itself in about six weeks.TORE the muscle? That's a surgery situation right?
It’s a completely different injury. Sustained in training. His recovery was complete. From the previous injury.
What the %^*& do our medical staff do to keep making injuries worse?! Fucking hell.
