Too old!!He's only 16 don't think we were ever linked
You Sir are most definitely not Fabrizio heheDon’t think Butland is happening.
What is XG against? Our XG against was the lowest in the league last season.
McGregor's save stats were the worst in the league.
It's clear that GK was a huge problem for us last season.
Hopefully Butland will solve that.
Quite scary the amount of folk who can’t comprehend this was a joke .Don’t think Butland is happening.
Not gonna look as it’s probably the same as the threads in the lounge on the same matter but very nice moves by the captains and the club . Everyone Anyone .Ask and you shall receive, though to be fair this is for a very good cause.
The replies though...
Big? Ma wife’s no told me that in years.Better tell Fab he’s lost all credibility.. big Follow1996 said he’s talking pish
As sharp as a 20 year old tree trunkQuite scary the amount of folk who can’t comprehend this was a joke .
Expected goals to loseWhat is XG against?
What is XG against?
The expected goals of the opposition per match based on the quality of chances. What is XG against?
I don’t think this is a joke. :shh:Quite scary the amount of folk who can’t comprehend this was a joke .
Quite clearly living up to your name to think this.I don’t think this is a joke. :shh:
Penalty is generally .79.The expected goals of the opposition per match based on the quality of chances.
For example a penalty has an xG of .67 because 67% of penalties are scored.
I swear it used to be .67, point still stands though.Penalty is generally .79.
Can't be worse than Shagger and McLaughlinHow’s Butland with his feet?
Does he command his box though?Delighted with Butland! A 6ft 5 keeper who comes for crosses!
I might stop sh****g it every time the opposition get a corner now!
Not his best attribute but first and foremost we need a shot stopper and someone who catches crosses into the boxHow’s Butland with his feet?
That Hibs goal that’s being talked about (and I’ve ever seen one replay of it) I don’t blame McCrorie for it - the young boy that came on, his inexperience told and he could have done better by not letting the ball come across like that
That was my first thought
But if I’m wrong or anyone posts a replay of it and I’ve imagined it different then fair enough
Like an English Michael Jackson a reeallll grroooovverrrHow’s Butland with his feet?
I trust Beale’s eye for a playerNote of caution, we were all delighted with last summers transfer dealings. Hopefully our scouting system has been given a boot in the baws and found a few decent players this year.
How’s Butland with his feet?
Yeah that’s more or less how I mind itNothing to do with McCrorie.
King lost Hanlon and Ure was caught on his heels at the front post.
The 2 of them share the blame.
Harmless big guy but got broken bottles between his earsKevin Kyle is on Open Goal the day saying he has heard Rangers are in for James Milner and Connor Coady...
Guy is a mile out and clueless. Milners signing with Brighton.
Was it even as much as that? I thought they were about 1.2 each or something either way it’s good businessCantwell and Raskin for £3 million - we know this has been great business.
Sterling, Dowell and Butland - on paper seems like very good business. But time will tell.
I get the feeling we are spending a large portion of our budget on a top striker.
You won't like the 6pm one either.Official Twitter posting something no one is interested in at 5, just to noise us up.
Cant wait till 6.
They’ve got folk on strings. LovelyGeneric 5pm tweet followed by generic 6pm tweet...

Yaaaaaaaasss he's no a mentally challengedMedical showed up 10 toes, so we're good to go.

Leagues are won by having good strength in depth in the forward areas. When we last dominated in Scotland it was built on having guys like Boyd, Miller, Lafferty, Naismith, Novo. All players who were guaranteed to score domestically.
The 55 season we had Morelos at his peak, Roofe without fitness issues, Itten and Defoe while playing primarily 1 up front. All options who could get goals. At the moment we have 3 forward players on the books Colak who hasn't scored consistently since Gio left, Roofe who has played around 140 minutes in the last 12 months and Sakala who is better on the wing and if people are honest in the big moments let us down badly.
The forward area is the most crucial to get right this summer so to me signing someone who unless he gets injured would score 20 plus for us is an obvious signing to make.
Was it a 50/50 split though?Medical showed up 10 toes, so we're good to go.
Will we announce anyone whilst the manager is on holiday? Not winding up, genuinely asking. Surely he’d want to be there for all the photos, intros etcGeneric 5pm tweet followed by generic 6pm tweet...
I think he's more getting at we need a strong front line, not all necessarily from Scotland. Shankland IMO would be a very good option to have in the squad for the reason the poster said, he scores regularly in this league. For our number one striker? Of course not, but filling the attack out with goals is priority. Kent didn't contribute anywhere near enough in that regard. We are currently extremely weak in an attacking sense.Despite Beale saying no one is good enough? Do have better judgement than our manager? There’s absolutely no guarantee he would come in and score 20 goals, he could flop playing for our club.
The days of Boyd, Miller, Novo and Naismith being picked up in our league are over. Shankland and Nisbet are no where near that level.
I trust Beale to sign better than Shankland and not shop in an overpriced domestic market.
Was it even as much as that? I thought they were about 1.2 each or something either way it’s good business
I’m sure some PR people would say don’t announce anyone while there’s another story in the city hogging the news cycleWill we announce anyone whilst the manager is on holiday? Not winding up, genuinely asking. Surely he’d want to be there for all the photos, intros etc
Hold on though. Didn’t say whether he has webbed feet or not.Yaaaaaaaasss he's no a mentally challenged

To Quote Beale Again. No striker in Scotland outside us and them is good enough.I think he's more getting at we need a strong front line, not all necessarily from Scotland.
