He played well tonight, as did a few others which makes the outcome even harder to take.
But, Jack against an 11 man defence in Scotland offers us very little.
Thought he was great tonight and I was shocked when he was subbed.
Did you miss McCrorie failing to track the guy who scored? He was good tonight - seems to be a bit better when he has someone like McCrorie behind him. For me McCrorie should be playing as he really does the defensive midfielder role well.

That wasn't a foul it was a diveHe was booked and he committed a foul outside our box. One more foul and he was off.

Absolutely. He’s a fantastic player with great potential.Thought he was head and shoulders our best player tonight and has impressed in Europe this season.
Would be the lynchpin I’d build our midfield on in this form.
No I didn't. Didn't miss McGregor's poor distribution either but that doesn't make him a bad player. This was McCrorie's first start in over 2 months and has had very little overall game time but he played well. He broke up a few moves and bailed McCauley out a few times also. McCrorie wasn't bad for us tonight and IS a better option in midfield. Lets face it, through the season the players playing there certainly haven't done any better and probably won'tDid you miss McCrorie failing to track the guy who scored?
It was worth the risk inmo. I thought MCrorie was poor at the goal, the boy does everything one paced you never see him sprinting and he didn't react quickly enough to the goal scorer.
I was going to say the same. His passing was definetly more positive tonightSome of his first time passes forward were excellent and not something we've seen from him recently.
Him and young Ross should be starting every week.
You never see McCrorie sprint? Are you blind?
No I'm not, he is very casual, watch the goal again.
Ah right, pick one example to prove your point.
I’d actually argue that McCrorie sprints a lot as he’s often caught out of position. I don’t think it’s his lack of effort or commitment that’s the issue with him anyway.
On a booking, think that influenced Gerrard.Thought he was great tonight and I was shocked when he was subbed.
Jack does his job, it's not his fault we have no creative players for him to give the ball to.

‘Offers nothing in an attacking sense’ is their favourite.Wait, you'll get the 'he's bang average and would fit into Aberdeens midfield' brigade coming on soon to tell us.
Our Only player tonight who didn't treat the ball like it was a hand grenade.Ryan Jack had an excellent performance and was probably our best player now the park.
Do you write for the Daily Record? He was booked and he committed a foul outside our box. One more foul and he was off.
