Wasn’t he also in a senior position at LGBT Youth Scotland along with one of the CFC affiliated child rapists?

Bennell was convicted of over 50 different offences.

Torbett was convicted of 5 and Cairney a total of 9.

Just on the number of offences alone, it's easy to see why Bennell got a much more severe sentence.

If only our boardroom wasn’t as meek we’d be lobbying for a vote of no confidence in the full SFA, be opening our doors and demanding on behalf of all survivors, a full public enquiry. That chap presiding over the enquiry could not have done more there to try and deflect or protect Celtic. They thought this would be confined to Scotland. It now isn’t but I fear the power they have will see them protected in the end.
 
The separate entity defence has just been rubbished.
And the law explained nicely to encourage the club to be sued.

This is costing them millions.

One thing missing though, is the fact their manager, board and some players knew the abuse happened. Will anyone ever mention that?
 
The SFA have always been a complete mess and a massive disgrace. However, the more I think about their statement they are just beyond disgusting and do need to be taken to task. I am assuming they are just shitting it from the fall out of their backing and enabling Celtic's cover-up but to issue that statement is staggering.

One thing it does appear to confirm though. Celtic and SFA are essentially the exact same thing. The only reason this could have come out and now would be because they're the same people delivering the advice for the statements. That in itself should be investigated above the SFA.

Time they were taken out of the equation on this subject as they clearly cannot be trusted. I doubt they've even started any investigation and will now have to hash bash some utter nonsense together to pretend they have.

Worst thing is it's not even an SFA statement read the bit down the bottom. No idea why they are releasing this propaganda when they are too scared to but their name to it. The whole thing stinks.

The Scottish FA also wishes to clarify that Martin was speaking in his independent capacity and that personal views expressed are not in the scope of the Review’s Terms of Reference, nor are they endorsed by the Scottish FA.
 
Wait surely to %^*& that Henry guys links to safeguarding O’Brian can’t be true? Surely this is an open goal then for Thomson or a reporter to go after them?
 
Well, that was as clear as could be. They have nowhere to go on this and their own fucking arrogance is going to be the single biggest cause of their problems, other than the obvious, of course.


If just one of those scum bastards had done the right thing, right up to today, some of the damage could have been mitigated. Their position on this will ensure their downfall.


If the victims get what they most certainly deserve, there can be absolutely no excuse for the SFA not hitting them harder than anyone has ever been hit.
