Most of that will be taken care of by voting for Rangers Resolution to distribute the money before terminating the league. Give them all their cash, hold off in the vote about terminating the league and take the time to have a proper discussion about whether reconstruction is feasible/desirable. Then make a call on the league.
The indicator will be if the SPFL cancel this weeks votes and, instead, putS the Rangers Resolution to Members. Or will they deny the vote on Rangers Resolution on some obscure point of order?
The most likely place for it to fail is the Championship. They need 75% (8-2) in favour. Thistle will vote against for sure. Would any 2 of ICT, Dundee and Ayr vote against as they lose the chance of making the top league through play-offs? I think they might. Subject to no approval being given for league reconstruction prior to the vote. A promise of talks won’t cut it.
The fact that they went straight to the ‘award titles on current standings or do nothing at all’ vote suggests they won’t have much interest in Rangers proposal.
They could very easily have came up with something similar to what Rangers proposed, along with options to null and void and settle on current standings, and then put all options on the table for clubs to give their opinions on.
Instead they have ignored all options but one, and are now offering that option to clubs as an all or nothing ultimatum.
They know a lot of clubs are absolutely desperate for payouts. There are several options that could have been tabled and voted through to allow club payments to have been released. The authorities knew that so they have loaded the vote with only one option knowing that financially strapped clubs will probably just vote it through without much consideration for what happens with titles.
Then they are dangling the carrot of league restructuring for clubs facing the drop.
It’s bribery.
Speaking to a Hibs employee they certainly do not want Hertz going down due to the cash involved. Surely Dempster might vote in our favour
Us & Hearts would be obvious
Hibs would be leapfrogged by St Johnstone and move out of top 6, they’d also lose 2 home Edinburgh Derbies
Kilmarnock still have a shot at Europe so may vote in our favour
Not sure on anyone else
Is the Scottish cup not to be cancelled?I would have thought Motherwell as they have a chance of a European place.
Is the Scottish cup not to be cancelled?
Aberdeen and Motherwell would be gauranteed their euro places.
The Tim's will have all there ducks in a row, the question is do we have the clout to derail the planned outcome.I suspect the Bheasts have already been in talks with other clubs to try and secure their plan.
If the other clubs think back to 2012 when Celtic corralled them into sticking the boot into us and how it panned out backing the Bheasts they might not get the numbers they hoped for.
Sure i read it was cancelled but not 100% on that. Were I a betting man my money would be on those 3 games being the first three matches of next season. Gotta preserve their chance at the treble, of course.
They didn’t last time!Based on their support that is , however the people running the club may take a more business like approach.
Sure i read it was cancelled but not 100% on that.
I don't think budge was there then though and she'll make the callHearts are far from a certainty with the talk of a league reconstruction. Plus the fact 2012 proved they are rat bastards.
Unfortunately it'll end up that the clubs are so desperate for the prize money they'll likely vote it through.Even Arbroath, Dunfermline and Morton have a realistic chance of catching Inverness in second. League reconstruction, I assume, would see the top 2 go up automatically, so you’ve got to think those clubs would be against it also.
Yes but individually.
75% in our league.
75% in the championship.
And 75% in league 1 and 2 combined.
3 seperate votes
Which proposal bud, I'm confused with the various voting resolutions.Ayr United voting in favour of the proposal.
Hearts have just stated they are against the leagues proposal.I don't think budge was there then though and she'll make the call

OK thanks.The SPFL one.
Petries club.. can't see itSo if that us, hearts, Aberdeen out, we only need one more. Hibs? Although not sure I get how St Johnstone get 6th spot instead of them.
Good pointIs the Scottish cup not to be cancelled?
Aberdeen and Motherwell would be gauranteed their euro places.
When is the vote? Literally can't find the date anywhere. Doing my nut in now.
They are 1 point behind Motherwell, I think most of us would take Aberdeen to win 3rd place with 8 games to go.Where are you getting this from ? His mob are the least likely to back us up.
Have we put froward a counter proposal?
Seen something like this on the 4lads twitter page. Say we said split the prize money evenly for all leagues, so spl would be say £4m prize money split between 12, £333,000 each club piad now (dont know if £4m is the prize money) no champions, no relegation. European spots determined on current positions. Do you think more clubs would back our proposal meaning a fair split of money which could save clubs going under. Also feel our proposal would be backed in lower leagues as clubs would get fair share of there prize money which would save a few of them plus prob the idea of a colts team in lower leagues giving these clubs a better income again next season.
Their plan is to complete the Sclottish cup.Hibs and Hertz if either got to the final against the tramps would potentially be guaranteed a European spot am I right in thinking that?
He probably means he's seen the bribe, the scum are offeringAnyone seen the comments from Lachlan Cameron (Ayr chairman) on Twitter?
He says null and void is his view but having seen the papers he recognises it's 'not possible' and they'll be backing the motion.
What rationale could there be for null and void not being possible, yet awarding titles, promotion and relegating teams on current standings (with no more games played) be possible?

Starting to drip feed now. . .
Hearts against the SPFL proposal.
Ayr Utd for it.
On a sidenote, Ayr Utd were for null and void but after seeing the figures say they admit that it can't be done.
Mcinnes will do what his chairman tells him to do, he has fck all input in thisHe was live on Clyde 1
No dont know.Damn. I had Ayr down as a potential ‘no’ to the SPFL proposal. Any idea why they are backing it if the Rangers proposal is on the table? They’re in a play-off position.
